  1. What the hell is that!? Does it emit greenhouse gas?
  2. You're making way too much sense to be posting here man.
  3. that's my point. He played well and we still won. Wait til he has a bad day. Also, the Jets do not have the Bronco's offense and they don't have a Mike Shannahan. Not scared.
  4. damn right. I think this might be a good move for the Bills, since Cutler likes to throw picks and we play a cover 2... We also have a decent secondary and Cutler would throw to who exactly? Keller and Leon Washington!? They could bring in Kelly Holcomb to do that!
  5. That's what I was thinking. This guy has SLB written all over him. The more I look at it, I think the Bills have accepted the fact that they cannot go DE at 11, since no one worth while will be there. Obviously if one of the top 3 DLs is there (Orakpo, Brown, or Raji), they have to take them. Otherwise, it will probably be DE in round two.
  6. As long as the Bills win football games and he plays well after the suspension, I don't care. If running over Canadian girls and carrying a loaded weapon make him better, then I say keep on doing it! All I really want is for the team to make the playoffs and if it took criminal behavior to get there, I would be all for it. On another note, for those sick of the rich athletes getting out of trouble with what appears to be slaps on the wrist, where have you been for the past two decades? Famous people in this country never get in trouble the way the rest of us do. It's all the fault of pro-business government policies, which empahsize money, cohorts, and privately/publically held non-governmental organizations over those of us citizens and our constitutionally-provided votes. Bring government back to the people and away from business!
  7. I think that's a given - he played nickle well enough for them to play with two LBs as the base d until he get hurt. He was better against the run than Ellison!
  8. OK, seriously though, we cannot trade Johnson for this guy. Especially if they are going after McCargo as the primary target. I say give them big John and a 4th.
  9. Not John McCargo! We'll never get anywhere without him. He's this years defensive centerpiece!
  10. They go limp instead of rigid and are able to absorb that impact better as a result (physics class in college). Now that's !@#$ed up
  11. I agree with your sentiment and I think you will probably end up being right about not taking a DL until later (I might even go so far as to say not until the 3rd), but I think a lot of the reason people are thinking DL, is becaus ethey are hoping that the right one is there at 11, even though they most likely will not (I myself am guilty of this). I think the cavet would be if a guy like Raji or Orakpo fell to us. Otherwise I agree that the value probably wouldn't be there until round two. Also the idea of taking a situational guy at 11 when there are full time guys available lacks a solid strategy. Maybe they do it for the right guy. This is also going to depend a lot on what happens with Peters because if he gets traded, there are a few more options for us in the early draft.
  12. I thought the same thing. It's a great article though - certainly one of TIm's best. Lots of good and relevant sources.
  13. A smaller Kelsey!? For once I want them to draft a guy who doesn't rely on a high motor to make plays - I want a guy who isn't a one trick pony. Imagine having a guy who had the quick first step to get around some one and still be able to bull-rush if he needed to.
  14. Are you trading our first with Peters?
  15. I'm sure Russ bought the old #81 Hardy stock (all 25 of them).
  16. Brian's site is really good - I have been reading it for a little more than a year. It's nice to hear some one talk about the Bills and make some actual sense, as opposed to a lot of posters on this site and others as well as some media people.
  17. You sure that's correct? I know he was a President of the union when we got him and I didn't think you could hold two positions at the same time (team rep and Pres).
  18. Raji and Ayers would be great. I'd also take Raji and Johnson. I'd really like to trade down to the 20s, pick up Michael Johnson there, then take Duke Robinson, then take Ziggy Hood, then take either a TE or LB.
  19. If they wanna give Owens Hardy's number, he better go along with it. The guy could learn a lot from Owens and giving him his number might be the best way to keep a good relationship.
  20. It's all about what you like. I've been to nice places that are crap and not fun and I've been to dives that were the best. One of the greatest places I was ever in was in Barcelona. We had been out drinking all day and well into the night. We were walking around the main strip and passed some people who told us about the scariest bar they had ever been, which we naturally wanted to go to (it was kinda like Hostel now that I think about it). It's about 3:30 am and this bar's front door is in an alley way off another alley way. When we finally got there (no sign) there was only a drunk homeless man passed out in front of this wooden door. When we knocked, there was a prohibition style slide to see who was on the other side that opened. We were let in to this place that was lit up like noon on a tropical island and packed. It was a hole, but a damn good place to party. It ended when I got into a fight with a socialist and we were ejected forcefully.
  21. I've spent a lot of time in bars (working and relaxing) in Buffalo, the east and west coasts, and a good portion of Western and Central Europe. Personally, I am not a club person (I like cafe-style places), but I have been to a few over the years. If TO is looking for the big clubs, with $50 door charges, $15 drinks, all the extravagent hoopla, etc he will be dissappointed. Buffalo has nothing like that. The best places in Buffalo are those that are hideen away and have good food. The alternative, if you want to aprty, is to go to Allentown and slum around. Though I don't know if I could see TO stadning in front of the Pink after everyone gets kicked out, trying to pick up chicks (which by the way, works real well).
  22. I think Schobel's pretty funny - really dry humor.
  23. Reggie Dunlop!?
  24. That was me. And just to be stubborn, I'm going to stand by it. He's not playing guard this year.
