just pointed out something that's always been on my mind asking why the Jags let so much time run off the clock after they traded for their pick. Once you trade up don't you know who youre taking. Can anyone explain why this takes some teams so long I have noticed it happening for many years.

The trade with Philly seems like a very likely scenario to me. The Eagles are seeking a DE or an OT in this years draft, exactly what Denver #12 and Carolina #13 seem to be targeting as well. If a guy they covet like Harvey, Clady, or Albert is there at 11 i see them making the jump in front of the Broncos and Panthers. Though, im not sure if Lito Sheppard will be the compensation.

For all of those mocking the 4 score...our very own Jason Peters scored a 6 on this test. The second lowest on the wonderlic that year just behind his Arkansas teammate ahmad carrol who score a 4. FWIW

This game feels like it could end up being eerily similar to the Pittsburgh game a few years back: a must win for the bills vs. the pats who have everything locked up and play their back-ups. Yet we still blow it

I honestly think it was smarter on his part to bring the change of surface to the attention of the public rather than just stay quiet about it. His times are horrible and at least blaming on the surface might at least create a 'benefit of the doubt' mindset for interested GM's and coaches. He did make an error in bringing up the money aspect of the situation but I have trouble blaming him. If my school, a place I thought I could trust, ever did something that could potentially cost me 5-10 mill. id be pretty pissed off too and can't even imagine what type of verbal tirade id go on.

Brandon Flowers. He's a physical corner who reminds me alot of Antoine Winfield in his ability to play run support. The big knock on him is that he doesn't have ideal speed. (about 4.55) i believe. But speed isn't as big of a necessity in the Cover 2 defense. Mayock had him ranked number one before the combine and still has him very highly ranked (2 or 3). Mayock knows what he's talking about when it comes to the secondary. More than McShay or Kiper at least I believe.

Same here. Simpson is a more likely pick in that spot. I just think the Bills need one of the more athletic TE's to stretch the field than they do an all-around TE like Carlson. Royal is still and excellent blocking TE.

It seems like every time I read this board I find out that another one of our potential draft picks isnt very good and won't be able to cut it in the NFL. Is there anyone who's actually any good in this draft?

While I believe Harvey will be there, I just can't see the Bills taking him. We have too much money tied up in Kelsay and Schobel and it just wouldnt be fiscally responsible. It would be extactic if we actually did make this move but I just can't see it happening. On the note of Boldin I can't see Arizona even thinking of moving him for less than a first.
