Hard to believe but the only games that we have a decent shot of winning are @KC, CHi, Det and Cle. Of course we could pull off an upset along the way but the defense is BAD so chances are slim. KC this week will be harder than the other 3 at home. "And with the first pick in the 2011 NFL Draft the Buffalo Bills select.....................?"

I've been saying it for three years now, Trent is not the answer at QB. I don't get why he keeps getting chance after chance. I am glad to see some of you guys are finally coming around to the notion that Edwards is barely good enough to hold a clip board.
Unfortunately the QB position is only part of the problem for the Bills. It is going to be a long, painful seson

Will it be McKelvin, he was great in 2008! Will it be Jackson, he was very solid getting us great field position. Will it be someone new like Spiller? My guess would be Spiller, great way to get the rookie in the game and make an impact.
Does any one know anything about this. My fantasy league counts return yardage and Fred kicked but for me last year. I always grab Buffs return man, call me a Homer if you like.

I voted 3 to 5 years. I am suprised at some of the other votes. Our front 7 needs work, if we can build a run stuffing defense we would be strong contenders from that point on. The secondary is tight and young, we need some better d lineman. We need some beef in the middle. With our running game we could then control the ball and win ugly. Pick up the right free agent QB in the next 2 years and concentrate on building the O line to bolster our running attack of Jackson and Spiller. 3 or 4 years from now I may be exited about an upcoming season, this year looks hopeless

You are right on man, I have been saying Trent is not the answer since I first saw him play. The guy is a good back up at best,I believe I called him a clipboard holder a couple years ago and got a bunch of you guys panties in a wad. He will never be great, Losman looks better than him!

I will tell you why. Poor to Aveage QB play will keep us out again. This is a quarterback driven league. Teams that consistantly make the Playoffs have consistant QB's. Ours have been pretty sorry since the great Jim Kelly, Flutie Flakes was OK and got us some W's. Since then it has been a joke. If Edwards can step up his game we have a chance. I'm not sure he can do any better than he has shown so far, and that has been average at best.

Based on the poll results there are a whole bunch of stoners on the Wall. I think they should not Smoke Weed! It could cost them too much, Game time and money. They will play video games too much. Look at Lynch, busted with weed, arguably our most dangerous asset to the offense.
Weed should only be smoked after retirement for these guys. Please, if you had millions on the line would you smoke up?

Trent is on a short leash with me, 1 or 2 more seasons of us not making the post season and I will be looking for his replacement. Pennington was 2nd in the league last year with a 97.4 QB rating, while Trent was 17th with a respectale 85.4. They both were very accurate completing a high percentage. Penny 19 TDs only 7 picks, Trent 10 & 10.
Stats aside they are similar players, Pennington has shown more ability to manage the game and come away with a victory.
I would prefer a beter QB than Trent or Chad running the show in BUFFALO!

Beating up your woman is a disgrace but I don't think a little fight is call for a suspension. Its a matter of time before he screws up big time and ends up in the slammer anyway.

The Patriots will be better than the Dolphins, however you are correct in fearing the Fish as well. They bolstered their secondary big time, also the pass rush should be improved. Their O-Line has been upgraded too. They do have some issues at QB and WR still but the over all depth has been improved. They have a hard schedule so they may not make the post season, I just hope they don't sweep us again this season.

The only way our record will be improved is by getting some solid QB play from Trent. The QB position gets paid the most and gets all the glory for a reason, it is the most important position on the field. If the Bills had a top 5 QB we would be in the playoffs every year, instead we have not made the post season in ages!

The teams that would be in the running for someone like Pettigrew are the Eagles (#21), Falcons (#24) and possibly the Dolphins (#25). I can't imagine Philly going after Pettigrew, especially if they trade for Anquan Boldin. Even if they don't trade for Q then I believe that they'll address their DL. There is some serious rumblings going on that the Falcons are still trying to work out a trade for TE Tony Gonzalez. That would increase Buffalo's chances tremendously if this trade goes thru. I say the Dolphins but that's just because Parcels likes jumbo OL and rugged guys at the TE position but other than that I truly feel that it's really just down to the Eagles and Falcons. Now, if only if the Falcons could secure that trade for Gonzo.
I was just getting ready to post this! We get Pettigrew at #28! This is a great call, you even put in the part about Gonzo to the Falcons. That fact is what made me believe we can get him at #28.
