  1. Where JP fails is that it seemed no-one really got behind him to rally. He doesn't seem to have this team or be able to lead and thats been his problem for several years. I guess its his leadership or lack there of. The QB needs to lead and inspire others to play better. Trent does this, JP does not. Maybe we can keep him around on the City's landscaping crew...

  2. Good point! I say that article and thought of the same stuff, but it sounds like only one side of the story, the players. You and I may never know but I know some of the facts:

Crowell requested to have surgey days before the season.

The Bills put him on IR.

    The Bills are 2-0.

I am not worried. Sucks for Crowell, maybe he shoulda been more of a team player.

  3. I saw it too, and was almost expecting us to get looked over. The best part is that Ritchie actually believes that. He's not reading the latest Dallas news off of a script like most of their other football segments.

While I don't agree that Trent will be like Manning/Brady*, I could see him turning out to be in the Hasselback/Delhomme mold.

I dont agree with clumping Manning and Brady... Just now that Brady got Moss and he was putting up some gaudy #'s. Edwards really impressed when he hit like the first 10 passes in JAC. That's big! Then to back it up with the winning drive shows he's got it! Were gonna take the division this year and then when Marsha Brady comes back, we will really compete.

    Long live the King!

  4. 1 - Not to be sanctimonious but some of the "rejoicing" to Brady's injury is pretty damn classless. Bills fans pride themselves on being the best in the league, and that reputation has take a few painful hits today.

2 - That said. This is a team that nearly went 19-0 last year. 19 and frickin' zero. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised they will game plan and rally to a 10-6 or 11-5 record AND beat the Bills at home. Say what you want, but the Pats are a damn good team and Billy B is a great coach.

Don't book your flight to a division championship just yet.

I don't think anyone here paid someone to hurt Brady or spent half thier day praying that he got hurt. But now that it has happened, I will be the first to pray for him that he can make a complete recovery after a horrible injury and maybe he can play football again some time next year or the year after.

    Then I hope he hemmorrhoids.

  5. I want to beat them straight up with no excuses so I don't neccessarily care for his injury.

True, but if Brady has to go out, why not enjoy the fact that this looks pretty similar to the Wilfork hit on JP!!!

Per the Pats that wasnt a dirty hit, but they say the one on Tom was! If fee like loverboy! Loving every minute of it!!!

  6. Dude, enough of the "Ralph Wilson is out to get me crap". This situation and POZ's are completely different, players were dropping like flies last year. I am glad, Ellison did a hell of a job in his rookie year, considering (late pick and quick start) and I look foward to him building on that. Crowell seemed absent in alot of the games last year.

Everyone just have a drink (from the koolaid cooler) and just relax. We'll be fine, there's a legit reason, mark my words....

  7. Shockey is a good player but I don't think he is a good fit for Buffalo because of our young QB. Shockey wants the ball all the time and I think that could be very distracting for a young QB. If Shockey starts bitching for the ball all the time maybe Trent starts looking his way too often and starts locking in on him to make him happy. I think Manning did that for a while and the Giants seemed to do ok after he was out. JMO

    GO BILLS!

Yea but maybe last year humbled his ass after he watched his teamates win the SB from the BOX! What kind of slap in the face would be to have your team not allow you on the sidelines and ask you to just watch? I would be all for trading a 2nd, plus another somewhere, i dont think he would be able to come in and take over...

  8. They already did take care of him. He was happy when he signed the contract as a tackle, and one year and one probowl later and suddenly the Bills should have to throw away the "profit" from their winning bet on the come? BS. He's under contract for three more years. If you set a precedent like this it can have a domino effect. Maybe they will find a legitimate compromise, but Peters should be at camp, period.

Yea, right! He's gotta do atleast one more year of a 4 year contract. 3.5M aint that bad for a undrafted TE converted LT, but then its payday next year. Top five pay for another PB season.

Can't wait for Bruce on the Wall!!!

  9. Let's see: they let 2 of our best players walk last year (for nothing), they signed an overrated player to an ungodly amount of money (talk about painting yourself into a corner!), they continue to pay Connolly while he spends more time in a hospital bed than the ice, and looking towards the future, they fired all of their scouts.

However, I don't think this is TGs fault. He basically saved the team. I would say Darcy has his head in the sand.

LOL - Right on Kas, don't forget that they shoved that stupid SLUG down our throats too and Quinn had his hoof in on that one!
