  1. There’s no doubt Rodgers is one of the best to play the game, but I see a ton of red flags with him and he seems he needs to be coddled constantly. Glad it’s the Packers problem to deal with and not the Bills. So far, Allen has continued to improve each year and the way he played in the playoffs makes me believe he is the best QB in the league. On top of that, Allen seems to be a great team player, a class act and is not a drama queen/distraction like how Rodgers is.
  2. After reading all the stuff about Rodgers and how he held a grudge against Mike McCarthy for years because McCarthy was on the 49ers when they drafted Alex Smith instead of him; same goes with him being a drama queen for the past few years when they drafted Love in the first round instead of getting him WR’s, he’s threatened to retire, wanted to be traded, etc. It makes you wonder if Rodgers is 100% dedicated to his team? Here’s a good article about the Rodgers/McCarthy turmoil in GB: https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2828649-what-happened-in-green-bay.amp.html
  3. First off, Rapistburger blew that Superbowl against the Packers by throwing two INT’s. Second, Rodgers is a head case. He’s still holding a grudge against the Packers for drafting Jordan Love in the first round instead of getting him WR’s. Third, when Manning left the Colts, he went to the Broncos and they had a loaded offense, along with an elite defense. Fourth, with $50M dedicated to one player, how are the Packers going to be able to get key FA’s to get them over the hump? Until Rodgers gets back to another Superbowl, he’s just a glorified Tony Romo with a Superbowl under his belt, meaning, he puts up great stats in the regular season, but can’t get it done deep in the postseason.
  4. He’s also 7-9 in the playoffs after his lone Superbowl win.
  5. I don’t know about that. In the last Broncos/Chiefs game, the Broncos defense kept them in the game and would have won if they had even a decent QB.
  6. Sure, in a mediocre division. Vikings and Bears, meh. Lions… perennial losers.
  7. One game further? And how were the final 13 seconds of the Bills/Chiefs game on Allen and the offense? I don’t think Allen told Bass to boot the kickoff in the end zone or told the defense to rush four and not double cover Hill and Kelce. The only reason Rodgers won a Superbowl was the GB defense as they intercepted Rapistburger twice, otherwise, Steelers would have won that game.
  8. Sure, the owners are filthy rich, but the NFL does not give teams an unlimited amount of money to spend on their team every year. I listened to Brandon Beane this morning on WGR talk about how the Bills are currently over the salary cap and have to figure out ways to not only get under the cap, but have money to sign their own UFA’s and their upcoming draft class. There’s no doubt Rodgers is a great QB, but is $50M a year worth it for a player who still holds a grudge against his team for drafting a QB in the first round instead of getting him help at WR?! Sure, Rodgers wins a lot of games, it also helps having to play twice a year against a mediocre Vikings team, a Bears team (who were mediocre up until this past year, now they suck) and a perennial loser in the Lions. Spending that much on a 38 year old who’s still mad at his own team is not a wise move. Packers will never get over the hump and make it back to the Superbowl with moves like this (NFC Championship game at best).
  9. $50M a year to get drama every year about wanting a trade to another team/mulling retirement, along with going no further than the NFC championship game…bad decision by the Packers!
  10. Thought Trent Edwards was going to be a great QB, especially since he was recommended by Bill Walsh. Thought Marv Levy was setting the Bills up for long term success when he was GM. Thought Buddy Nix was a good GM after signing Mario Williams.
  11. Tennessee getting a franchise QB
  12. I got refunded for the divisional round weeks ago, just not the AFCCG.
  13. I’m still waiting on my refund from Ticketmaster for the AFCCG if it was played in Buffalo. According to their site and help feature, a refund should be automatically processed within 30 days. Today is day #30 and still no refund!
  14. I definitely appreciated what he did this past season with the Bills, but he wore out as the season progressed. I wish Sanders nothing but the best. It’s safe to say Diggs and Davis will be the Bills top 2 WR’s, with Beasley in the slot. I’m curious to see who steps up as the #3 WR?
  15. It felt like a TNF game in the regular season than a championship game. Wasn’t a huge fan of the halftime show. While I liked the stage and thought that was very creative, IMO, there was a lot of bad lip syncing. Had no clue who the guy was with the dancers in the “Dre Day” boxes.
  16. Mostly a boring game! Glad Stafford gets a ring after being stuck with the Lions for all those years.
  17. Lol at Obese Axl Rose. He looks like Mama Fratelli from the Goonies. 50 Cent looked like 75 cent with the weight he put on.
  18. https://ultimateclassicrock.com/dee-snider-super-bowl-halftime-show/ "Hey @NFL! Your go-to songs at EVERY game are metal" he wrote. "'Enter Sandman,' '***** On Feel the Noise,' 'Thunder[struck],' 'Crazy Train,' 'We're Not Gonna Take It,' 'We Are the Champions,' 'Final Countdown,' 'I Wanna Rock,' 'We Will Rock You,' 'Welcome to Jungle.' NONE of those bands have EVER played half-time show!" I agree 100% with Dee. I’ve been to games in Buffalo, NJ, Baltimore and DC and heard rock music in each stadium.
  19. I sure as hell didn’t know all the songs or the artists and I’m under 50. I’ve been checking Twitter and the halftime show is getting mixed reactions from people that loved it and those that hated it. IMO, best halftime show ever was Prince.
  20. If they’re gonna have old acts play like the ones tonight, there’s no reason Metallica, Ozzy or other older rock bands could be on the halftime show.
  21. Burrow is starting to look overwhelmed with all the pressure that he’s getting
  22. Doubt we’ll ever see him again in the NFL
  23. I liked the stage and how they made it look like a city, but wasn’t a fan of the music. Bad lip syncing and Mary J. Blige trying to look like J-lo. I still don’t get what the NFL has against rock music. Metallica is played a lot in every Bills home game, would love to see them in the halftime show.
  24. Considering the blocked punt which cost us the Steelers game and not kicking the ball short of the goaline against the Chiefs with :13 seconds left in the game, I’m not sad to see him go. Hopefully McDermott hires an upgrade over Farwell.
