The Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? When did this happen? Recently? Damn those kraut bastards, kill them all!
LMAO!!!! OOH RAH!!!!

Damn, looks like Saturday will be a crappy day here in VA, plus a downpour at the game on Sunday. So we go from the Blizzard game last year to the Hurricane game this year?
-
Here in Fredericksburg, VA, at home on my couch watching the game on the NFL Sunday ticket. I'll have to drive up to Dale City to go to Wegmans and buy some Labatt Blue before the game.

By the way....I haven't looked back at my posts but I hope that one of those posters for Kelly was not me......
I think I was big on Devin Thomas.......I know that corner was not on my list
I with you on Devin Thomas. Before the draft, I was hoping we'd draft him because of his size and that he played in Michigan (a cold weather school). I'm glad we drafted Hardy. I lost interested in Malcolm Kelly after his 40-times, and him throwing a fit about the venue being changed.
-
Right now, I'm in love with Leryn Franco (as you can tell by my avatar).
-
They axed him to make a play and when he couldn't they axed him to leave.
It is interesting to note that the fifth round pick in the same draft has put the first round pick on the second team behind him.
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

McCargo also started his career off with injuries. He has shown flashes at times. Maybe he's a late bloomer like Drew Brees, and Ashton Youboty? Only time will tell.
-
Just as long as we beat the Jets twice this year that's all that matters. I think the Jets will anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7 at best.

Minutes after finding out he made the 53 man roster, Bell hired Eugene Parker and left Orchard Park. Parker did not return calls, and the only word from Bell came from a text message he sent Xavier Omon stating he already misses the team and really loves football. Omon guarantees Bell will stay in shape while he's gone.
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still think Tripplett is better than McCargo because at least he made a rare play, whereas McCargo is basically invisible. No matter how you look at it, these were two Levy blunders.
Levy was much better at drafting players, than picking FA's. At least Levy & current management saw when a player isn't working out and got rid of them quickly, instead of hanging onto them like Donahoe did. Levy built for the long-term, Donahoe built for the short-immediate future and falied.

AXED by the Seahawks today.
Oof.
I'm glad he's outta here, and we got Stroud!

Jets’ RB Chatman suspended four games
Posted: August 30th, 2008 | NFL.com Staff | Tags: New York Jets, roster cut-down
Running back Jesse Chatman of the New York Jets has been suspended without pay for the team’s first four regular-season games of 2008 for violating the NFL Policy on Steroids and Related Substances.
Chatman’s suspension begins on Saturday, August 30. He is eligible to return to the Jets’ active roster on Monday, September 29 following the team’s September 28 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
That's great news about Jesse Chatman, hopefully that will hurt the Jets enough during those 4 games.

Omon making the team really speaks volumes about Wright's commitment to the game. Jauron called him out last year and I guess it didn't help much. I'm really glad Johnson made the team too. At 6'1" he brings a little more size to the receiving corp.
Wright was looking good this year as he had some impressive runs, but his fumbles lead to his downfall here in Buffalo.
-
I'm glad Youboty made it as well.
Youboty looked great in pre-season. Let's hope he can continue like that in the regular sesaon.
-
Congrats to Steve Johnson. He could develop into a player. Omon showed me some talent, too, although it's impossible to tell if he can run and block like that with any consistency against starters with real bullets. Huge kudos to Corto for making the team, at least for now.
I'm glad Johnson & Omon made the team. Johnson was catching everything thrown to him, plus he has good size. Hopefully, he'll make an impact this year.

I was a little surprised that Anderson & Massaquoi both got cut, with the injuries to Schouman & Fine. I was hoping Anderson would have been used as an extra red-zone threat, with him being 6'7", 270lbs, but I didn't even hear his name called during the pre-season.
I heard rumors that Peters might show up Monday, it wouldn't surprise me. With training camp, pre-season and the final cuts being completed, he has no reason not to show up mow. I'd be surprised if he didn't show up by next Sunday. Even if Peters shows up this week, I don't think he'll start at LT, maybe work him in at some point, but that's it.

I thought that was only for teams that had played on Friday.
Chris Brown stated on buffalobills.com he thought it was 4:pm, but the actual deadline from the NFL is 6:pm.
-
I guess the Bills are waiting until 6:pm.
-
Are you sure it was your hand?
LOL!!!
I miss the Rockford Files, I haven't any re-runs in years.
-
Game over. Have a good night everyone!
-
Did your mom hold your hand when you crossed the street?
No, your mommy did!!!

I read an article that there are discussions to add 1 or 2 regular season games, and eliminating 1 or 2 pre-season games. I think an 18 game season would be better. I'm glad there aren't 6 pre-season games anymore.
-
Insert Losman, hopefully he won't get hurt.
-
I always find the last preseason game of the year painfully boring. I went for a run about midway through the 2nd quarter and just got back. Doesn't sound like I've missed much! Next one counts.
Me & the family went for a walk during halftime & part of the 3rd quarter.
Great sack by Bryan.
Did I make a mistake?

I'm pumped for the season opener. I'll be at home, watching the game in my living room on the NFL Sunday ticket. I hope it's not a rain out, with the early predictions of Hurricane Hanna (or what's left of the Hurricane) hitting the NY area on Sunday.
Game 2, I'll be flying out to Yuma, AZ that day. Hopefully, I can find a sports bar in the area, and catch the 2nd half of the game.
