I heard a comment yesterday that had me ROTFLMAO. "The only way POTUS will confront Putin is if Putin is blocking the doorway to a fundraiser in Iowa."

As I read through the above posts as well as those in other threads, I'm again stunned by the arrogance of the politicians who "lead" the US in foreign affairs. Do they really think that our simplistic prescriptions for peace and tranquility (as defined by above-named politicians) will stick to the wall in countries where tribal and religious factions have battled for centuries? Teddy R seemed to have it right with the "...walk softly, but carry a big stick." approach.

I'm always looking for a true offset from some of the ailments and "diseases" my wife suffers. For any number of reasons, I wouldn't even consider medical marijane if it had to be smoked to be ingested; but I just might be open to learning a bit more about curative or symptom relief powers of the chemical components. So, I'll check out the video w/ a somewhat open mind and see where it takes me.

Ah, but was he actually in the situation room during that briefing? Isn't it just possible there was a late show taping at the same time, or a fund raiser just down the block...? Did the staffer speak the briefing, or did she/he send POTUS an email, OR was POTUS left to learn the details from an article in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle? Does he know the USA was eliminated from World Cup play?
