Vote against every incumbent and where the challenger is a former elected official write in "Fix Government" instead of voting for him/her. Ignore party affiliations, vote the current office holders out. What's the worst that can happen...ineffective government?

How many years have we all speculated, prayed, beseeched, and whined for a decent Buffalo Bills team? What makes anyone think that this year's particular combnation of coaches, players, schedules, etc. will truly lead to a winning season, let alone a playoff berth? A corollary to the collection of phrases might be the application of judicial math, e.g. 90 days in jail really means nine in LiLo world. Life in prison really means twelve years, more or less.

Hill'ry is in Pakistan to personally deliver a 7.5 B aid package...a first step. And in return Pakistan is A) asking for more later; B) using the new-found resources to play both ends against the middle; C) courting favor among her neighbors as a source of cash and influence w/ the Evil-doers in the West; D) all of the above. The only sure thing is that the Pakistanis truly respect Hill'ry since women in their society hold such an exaulted position.

The very fact that absolutely anyone pulled a lever for Al Franken calls the whole population of Minnesota into question.... Put the Lund in the lift, dump the minnow pail and start the search for a real candidate to represent Minnesota directly as well the rest of us !

Please don't say or do anything to call attention to the fat-thighed, wild-haired, carpet bagging , former Senator from NYS, who bargained her way into the State Department as SOS. If we are all very very quiet, maybe she'll just drop off the face of the earth while her husband, Gin Blossom, seeks to screw every wench in the kingdom.

Unfortunately, for taxpayers the Obama administration seems not to understand the complexity of the cultural forces in the Middle East, and thus the US blunders along in spite of tribal and other roadblocks. (Not to mention campaign promises...but that's another thread all together.) Similarly, the current administration seems not to understand the culture of capitalism. Gee, banks hold their cash cards close to vest in bad times? Golly, corporations build reserves for even more troubled times rather than expand hiring? Yikes, manufacturers are shipping out of inventory rather than recall employees to make new products? Why, let's just wait until the government throws some more incentive cash our way rather than expend our own resources? Look, Alice, it's just a wonderland out there....

Was it just insulting for the Pres to send Joe Biden to the war zone on a fact-finding mission, or what? The words Joe Biden and fact finding are exemplars w/in the definition of oxymoron. In this case, the word moron is justly used.

Presidents are like balls in a pin ball machine: They are launched into a strange context, bounce around a bit, follow a route determined by uncontrollable obstacles, score some points, hit some awkward bumpers and finally drop out of sight. Bells ring, strange sounds are heard and nothing changes. No matter what the ball scores, it will soon be eclipsed by someone with the price to play the game.

Actually, there are plenty of options to 'crats and 'pubs. In November, just vote for challengers and vote incumbents out. Imagine voting EVERY incumbent OUT--judges, council persons, state legislators, Senators--now there's a message! Send the message that you'll keep at it until your elected reps accomplish what you want to happen. You know, like what should be happening now....

If/when BP goes breasts up, I'm sure that the $20,000,000,000 in escrow will be totally available to settle any and all claims, aren't you?

A great thing about upper level public school administration jobs in NYS is that the current incumbents are retiring in droves. That makes for beau coup openings, so get qualified, fill out those applications and get on the twelve month, non-tenure track, gravy train. No union dues, fine working conditions, pleasant surroundings, so...come on down....
