  1. I might have worded it, "Four wins or fewer," but the sentiment is still the same. They are awful.
  2. If players need preseason games to tune up physically and mentally for the season, why don't coaches? In other words why isn't there some level of game planning as practice for game-planning during the season?
  3. OK, it's preseason. Unfortunately, if yesterday is truly the best predictor of tomorrow, the Bills will continue to play like this throughout the regular season. We need NEW OWNERSHIP a la the Sabres and the Pegula influence. No amount of tinkering is going to "fix" the Bills. Post what you like, project abilities to players who shouldn't even be in the league, downplay the reality of the situation, do whatever; nothing will change until the institutional paradigm of the Bills shifts, e.g., new owner. Ralph should sell the Bills and use the proceeds to invest in Ted's franchises in the Rochester area.
  4. opfball91, hit the Enter key now and then, make a paragraph or two.... As to your content, some of us have invested a great deal of the time, effort, support and money in our efforts to back our Bills; disproportionately MORE than it appears the Bills have invested in us. So, pardon us if we adopt a wait-and-see attitude. Speaking for myself, I don't mind a good screwing, but I hate to be easy!
  5. Is there any truth to the rumor that NASCAR has taken over making the NFL's supplemental draft decisions...?
  6. Probably the best short-term predictor of tomorrow is yesterday.
  7. Probably the only reasons people think the bills stink is that they've watched Bills games for the past decade, followed the Bills' draft moves, and seen what the coaches have produced over that period of time. Other than those things, the team seems fine to me....
  8. I defined my fair share w/in the context of my family and economic circumstances at any given time. With that as a guide, I donated, volunteered, shared, gave back and, in general, acknowledged and supported those around me. I continued this approach into retirement. Now, however, I look around me and see waste, arrogance, mismanagement, and just plain lack of caring; so, I "dropped out." Since the various levels of government, and attendant agencies, don't appear to give a rat's @$$, I'm adopting their lead--I don't either. My new motto is screw 'em all, save six for pallbearers. Yeah, I know, my values and expectations were formed decades ago, so I'm woefully out of touch w/ vast segments of the American population that have been forced into a subsistence level lifestyle by my having taken their job for thirty-five years. Hell, I don't even have any tattoos or an iPod (Nor am I interested in funding same for indigents)!
  9. Two sayings that appear to be the mainstays of the Bills philosophy: "One man's trash is another man's treasure" and "If 'ifs' and 'buts' were candy and nuts...." Oh yeah, then there's "Wait 'til next year!"
  10. Given the paucity of governing acumen in DC, it's time to beat the drums for a renewal of the "Throw Every One of 'Em Out" movement. The inability of our elected officials to manage the finances of the nation is shameful. Throw their @$$&$ out.
  11. 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue...at least for now....
  12. So, will this resolve the recurring question of whether a Democrat or a Republican can piss farther? If not, what's the sense....
  13. Crap, I thought this was about Hillary Clinton....
  14. Crap, I thought this topic was about the Clintons....
  15. Rochester's Bishop ordained a married man as a priest in the Catholic church. Wow, I know the numbers are down, but who knew it was this bad? So, the celibacy thing is just another situational ethic to be winked at when the need arises? Any more wiggle room in the "rules" and we'll be left to think that the church is being run by NASCAR!
  16. And to toss another grenade into the pool; there should be a comma after No in your response....
  17. Since many TBD posters are convinced Fitz just doesn't have the stones to lead the Bills, I assume these workouts were organized by Cam Newton....?
  18. MSNBC, classy--the ultimate oxymoron. No news outlet is classy, ever. News whores out to suck up a buck, stab their competition, and sway the public to the easy, sound bite point of view couldn't care less about the news consumer. They will cater to listeners/readers/viewers in order to promote, emails, tweets, etc. to wave in front of potential advertisers/sponsors. It's business at its finest. Recall the old saying, "Believe nothing you hear and only half you see." That is the mantra of the careful news consumer.
  19. After reading the accompanying article, I'm intrigued, in this context, by the concept of "front pay."
  20. Now I'm jes sayin' The girl be's strayin' From her windy home to the big white dome. She jones'n for some rappin And some c'mplex dappin, So leave the %!&$# alone Do I hack you to the bone. I'm here through Sunday; try the veal....
  21. I can't even think about some preconceived win - loss record for the coming year in order to position the team for draft choices. That's nuts! Play the games at full tempo, leave it all on the field every week, take whatever draft choice falls to us when the dust settles.
  22. So, DC, that makes just three of us: FOX News, Al Jazeera and me....
  23. In order to mollify the protesters in Pakistan and across the world who decry the US' killing of Usama, I recommend that we take our $12,000,000,000 and slink out of Pakistan so they can get on with the business of grieving.
  24. I can understand Dante comparing himself to Jesus; often, when I watch him play, I yell out "Jesus." Well, among other things I yell that....
