Can the left actually be reasoned with?
3rdnlng replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Yes, everyone is entitled to a Gucci bag or to burn down a store. They are also entitled to hit everyone with a baseball bat. That's equal treatment but certainly not equal treatment under the law. You claim yourself to be a lawyer but you clearly don't understand the law. Where did you get your degree, Grenada? -
This has what to do with my OP?

I brought this subject up some time ago in another thread but thought it might be worth its own thread with a little variation. Today I sent away for over $250 worth of supplements that are made in the USA and not China. I had previously ordered some of these supplements but today I completely weaned myself off China supplements. Not only do we owe China a big FU for their duplicity with Covid-19 but their products are often not worthashit. How do we know that the tumeric curcumin supplement from China is real and not colored plaster dust? Face it, we can't trust China in anything and as a country we should be very wary of buying their products. While I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do I'm encouraging anyone reading this to take a second look at what they are purchasing and consider eliminating or limiting products from China. This is a good thread to post any decisions you've made in regards to purchases either from or not from China. BTW, eliminating Chinese products from out lives is not an easy thing to do. The day after I first posted about this I saw on a store shelf an item that I was going to order online and picked it up. Later when I took it from its package I noticed that it was made in China. I at first kicked myself but then realized that if I really wanted that product this was the only brand available. We can't be perfect in doing this but we can make a difference if we at least try. Post away.

Everything Joe Biden--Gaffes, Miscues, Touching, Songs
3rdnlng replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
For the most part these are things Biden has actually said. He is not a leader. When asked about how he would handle Covid-19 he stated that as president, he would do what the experts told him to do. Which experts? They have all disagreed on what are the most important things to do. The true leader says that he will listen to advice but make the decision that he feels is best for the country. Joe, we're not looking to hire someone to work on the factory floor and be told what to think or do. Leading from behind is what Obama did and frankly Joe, you're simply Obama light. Biden says during the Obama administration that he was the last person in the room with the president when he made important decisions. It's as if those decisions were anything but colossal disasters. -

You are the guy who always, without a doubt, and with no uncertainty made excuses for Obama's lies saying on numerous occasions that all politicians lie. Hypocrisy lives within you. -

They dress all in black and wore masks before it became fashionable. Oh, they also carry bats, bricks and Molotov Cocktails. Oh, they try to lock federal officers in buildings and then burn them down. Oh, they try to blind federal officers by pointing lasers in their faces. Get the drift? -

Just catching up on this thread and my thoughts may have already been posted by someone else but it's obvious that OP thinks that BLM and Antifa have every right to do what they're doing, which is causing havoc via of looting, arson and violence. He believes people can't morally stand up to BLM and Antifa and that it's the government's (police) duty to quell the rioting. He also wants to defund the police. I'm not sure I even want to read the next 9 pages. -

FIFY plus I put some punctuation at the end of your sentence. -
I've been off the grid for the last two days, sorry I missed it. Then again that would have meant that I would have had to read his horseshit posts.

He's still claiming that the lies about Charlottesville are true. Typical liberal, they need to lie to make their faux case.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/republicans-convention-turns-the-race-in-trump-s-favor/ar-BB18qKXx?li=BB141NW3 After just two days of the Republicans' national convention, the Biden-Democratic house of cards began to collapse. In place of the gloom of the Wagnerian sorceresses that oppressed watchers of the Democratic convention last week, Republicans produced a crisp, lively procession of very articulate women and African Americans, in particular, who swaddled themselves in the usual patriotic exultations; by their demeanor and the content of their remarks, they have spiked the Democratic effort to portray the Trump Republican Party as a wretched ragtag of bigots and quasi-fascists....................................................... -
From a FB post: To answer all of those of you who would say “I can't believe you would vote for Trump." Well folks listen up! I'm not just voting for him. I'm voting for the second Amendment. I'm voting for the next supreme court justice. I'm voting for the electoral college, and the Republic we live in. I'm voting for the Police, and law and order. I'm voting for the military, and the veterans who fought for and died for this Country. I'm voting for the Flag that is always missing from the Democratic background. I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored. I’m voting for secure borders. I’m voting for the right to praise my God without fear. I’m voting for every unborn soul the Democrats want to murder. I’m voting for freedom and the American Dream. I’m voting for good and against evil. I'm not just voting for one person, I'm voting for the future of my Country! What are you voting for?
