  1. Servers beware! MAKE THE DINING EXPERIENCE GREAT AGAIN.
  2. Decades ago I used to do business with a rather wealthy importer of goods that were mostly from the Orient. That aside, I had lunch at his beautiful LA home and he told the story of having dinner with the LA Chief of Police and his wife when armed robbers broke into the home and actually held them hostage while searching for valuables. If I remember correctly they stole some jewelry and the men's wallets and women's purses. Imagine their surprise when they found out that they had held the LA top cop at gunpoint.
  3. This is a good post. Nearly every personnel group has this dilemma to some extent. Just think, the Bills with an embarrassment of riches.
  4. If only we had a bona fide Hollywood screenwriter here at TSW: https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/08/duke-williams-thrives-tyree-jackson-struggles-12-buffalo-bills-who-helped-or-hurt-roster-odds-vs-panthers.html Someone in Hollywood should probably start writing a script on Christian Wade. The former rugby player’s feel good story continued against the Panthers. One week after he took his first NFL carry 65 yards for a touchdown, Wade almost scored on his first NFL reception. The running back broke multiple tackles on a short pass from Tyree Jackson and took the ball 48 yards down the field. He fell just shy of scoring another touchdown, but he once again brought life to Buffalo’s sideline. "I could feel the sideline. Like, it felt like a tidal wave about to come over me, you know? That was another special moment for Christian and our team,” Sean McDermott told the media following the Bills’ win.
  5. It couldn't have been Brady, his OL was elsewhere:
  6. IIRC, Barkley was coming off an injury and was not really available at the start of the season. That's why we picked up Derek Andersen first.
  7. Daboll can scheme to get Beasley open. Opposing defenses can't put enough manpower on Beasley to take him out of the game. Think what Welker, Amendola & Edelman always did to us.
  8. The Bills, when they were in the SB every year had pretty poor W-L preseason records. A 1-3 record was about par for the course. I think that was more a function of Marv's Club Med training camp and preseason. There was so much pure starting talent on those teams that those players got very little ps playing time and Marv and crew were basically interviewing for the last 5 spots in the majority of the ps games. Today it appears like the Bills have emerging talent like the Kelly era. The starters may not be quite as good yet but the depth is phenomenal. Allen has the chance to be Kelly with a bigger arm. While no one running back on the roster is as good as Thurman, that's a deep and talented group on our roster. The OL has at least 10 average or above average players and the WR group is causing consternation as to who will be cut. On defense, the DL line is certainly above average with the potential to be top 5. The secondary is as deep a secondary as there is in the NFL while the LB's have 2 guys that could be pro bowl players. I've never been a Pollyanna but this team has been built to compete and overcome the injuries that are sure to come. I'm feeling that it's like 1989 again, with the only difference that today I'm completely capable of turning a triple into a real close double.
  9. I wonder if she has ever heard of the Logan Act?
  10. I SEE GLEEFUL SHADY IS TOO MUCH OF A CHICKENSHIT TO FACE THE MUSIC FOR HIS DISHONEST POSTING EARLIER. DOES IT SURPRISE ANYONE?
  11. Part of the attraction to this place is being able to bust everybody's balls, not just the people we disagree with politically. Dr. Cyril Wecht just stated that what the examiner is claiming is wrong.
  12. Gleeful Shady, it seems like you're doing a little jig here reveling in what you can claim is a sinking economy. Here is what you failed to mention in each of those articles: Cisco is restructuring and may hire those that are laid off in another division Lowe's is outsourcing their assembly operations. No net loss of jobs. IBM may be laying off 1700 of its 340,000 worldwide employees but they may also be picking up 13,000. AT&T article was from 7 months ago. You are a dishonest poster with an agenda. Gleeful Shady seems like a pretty good moniker for you.
  13. I know 2 people that are totally behind you and can guess that other than a few asswipes everyone supports you. WTF, you're already retired with a fixed pension. Give em Hell.
  14. Who the f do you think you are, Gleeful Gator?
  15. Did you delete your WTF have the dems done in the last 2 1/2 years thread? We in the know, want to know.
