  1. Most people around the game of football lol .. ok guess I can’t argue that nugget we just disagree I guess, let the best player win.
  2. Like I said.. unproven, maybe he ends up being great and I hope he does, but it’s certainly no lock and if the rookie beats him out nobody will be shocked, McGovern hasn’t played C in years and hasn’t played C in the NFL at all.
  3. And he’s about to get some of the best professional oline coaching on the planet, I wouldn’t rule out the idea he could beat out an unproven center in camp, albeit a veteran unproven center. Before a single practice, obviously he’s the underdog and should be.
  4. Yeah in this game I give them a pass, the injuries were insurmountable, but overall history has shown McDermott’s D gets worse in the playoffs by a significant margin, while other contenders D gets better or at least maintains its level of play. McDermott has been carried by Allen up to this point, he has to show his D can win a playoff game against KC, heck I’d settle for just not being the reason they lose.
  5. I don’t think a QB has blown out more teams than Allen since 2020
  6. And you didn’t learn anything from the college numbers prior to playing a snap of pro football. We would all love draft picks to have great college numbers and we’d all love them to interview well, be intelligent, well spoken and likeable. In the end, Coleman will decide how good he’ll become, not prior collegiate success or a bunch of interviews after being drafted.
  7. Sure, and Elam’s metrics all pointed to success, yet nope lol. Like I said none of it guarantees anything, you can choose to solely focus on the numbers, and you would have been wrong about Elam just as you may be wrong about Coleman. Nobody is solely focusing on Coleman’s personality as the reason for his future success and if they do, they may also be wrong, but I’d rather my rookies have Coleman and Elam’s personality and work ethic because it increases their odds of success.
  8. There’s plenty of topics that are sensitive that many deal with, it’s comedy and it’s a roast where you’re guaranteed there’s nothing off limit, you’re entitled to have your opinion on what’s “off limit” of course but self deletion isn’t really topic seen as controversial. I would stay away from roasts and lean more towards family friendly material like sitcoms, all comedy isn’t for all people, just make more suitable viewing decisions for your tolerance level. I don’t think they knew he was running around shooting people and murdering others lol, I understand the hatred for the Patriots organization but it’s a major stretch to suggest they were complicit with murder and now have the audacity to make fun at his expense.
  9. Enough crying about the AH jokes.. it’s a roast wtf, the dude was a POS who ended lives and ruined many others including his own child. To the people complaining about it, don’t watch roasts, they’re no topics off limits and certainly not AH and him doing the world a favour and self deleting.
  10. Correct, but it can tell you something about the necessary attitude needed to be coached, work hard and to learn how to become the best player possible. Much like all the analytics you’re using as a guide to his odds of success, it’s all part of an equation but Keon will ultimately decide how it plays out and because of his demeanour and attitude I like his chances. No guarantees of course.
  11. And this was the concern with Worthy, can he hold up in the league. This would be like Coleman having every pass catching attempt broken up by the DB due to zero separation in his first practice.
  12. I agree about Rousseau, I think Brown is a better RT than Rousseau is a DE.
  13. I’m paying Brown 15M per right now, if he just duplicates last season, and there’s no reason he doesn’t take another jump, then he’s getting well north of 15M a young gigantic athletic RT who continues to improve, he’s turning into exactly what you hoped for when drafting him.
  14. Yeah there defense has been a major reason for their success, of course with Mahomes Kelce and Reid, this goes mostly unspoken.
  15. Mike North was on with Matt Parrino a couple days ago and left no doubt that the NFL and the streaming outlets and carriers are full steam ahead with the Bills as must see TV. Look for the Bills to once again to be one of the teams with the fewest 1pm games in the league.
  16. An excellent QB who’s taken advantage of a great situation and deserves to be seen as QB1. Do I think he has the talent level of Josh Allen ? Not a chance, but he has more than any other QB in the league and with Andy Reid, Spags and Kelce’s help he’s clutched his way to 3 titles. I respect his game.
  17. I’m not sure the Bears organizational opinions on players carry much weight if any at all lol.
  18. You can’t be serious lol.. they’ve explored replacing him every off-season and still haven’t extended him. It’s almost like management knows what most of us know, he’s clearly not good enough to compete with the elite QBs in the AFC. nice early season stats though.
  19. They needed a QB but where they were picking it wasn’t gonna happen lol
  20. A talented massive 25yr old with maturity issues, maybe having a CFL team add his name to their negotiating list was exactly the type of writing on the wall he needed. If I’m simply looking at the best case scenario here, I’m super excited about the possibility of two 6’4 giants on the outside with Coleman and Claypool and Kincaid,Shakir and Samual on the inside. The odds are stacked against the dude, but man if he takes advantage of this opportunity, understanding Josh Allen is his greatest chance at redemption then this could be very appealing.
  21. Because you don’t like someone doesn’t extinguish the reality I pointed out to the original poster lol.
  22. Yeah because Elon is a losing venture lol.. decade away from becoming the worlds first trillionaire
  23. I agree that is a possibility if he feels management continues to fall short, it’s not happening after this season.
  24. Yeah I’m not giving them a pass this year because the GM threw out “transition” in an interview. I fully expect a 5th straight division title a home playoff win and to compete after that.
