I love everything about McDermott in the regular season, it’s his postseason defense that has to do more, I’m giving them somewhat of a pass for last years playoff defeat, the injuries were ridiculous. Good coaches are let go because they haven’t been able to get it done, that happens and when you have a talent like Allen it amplifies the pressure on the HC. They need to get lucky and be healthy in the playoffs, and that luck might be in the form of someone else knocking KC out in the WC or Div round.

I’m with ya, I really need the first to be soon because I will eventually be all the way out on McDermott and I don’t want to go into any season having a Josh Allen and thinking the coach will never be good enough or at least smart enough yo get out of Allen’s way.

lol… I will say, once 17 finally raises that Lombardi after this seemingly insurmountable obstacle in KC is dispatched, it’s gonna feeling fawking epic.

I’ve stumbled across this a few times and the title alone has kept me from watching it.

I think he just wanted to slide that Oedipus reference in there and took his shot, let him have it lol

This guy is such a tool, great OC but a real wannabe eccentric.

Bernard and Milano, if Milano comes back 100% look the fawk out, this duo will be dominant

Random talking head says something about the Bills
julian replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wright has known for years that Allen is the threat closest to knocking Mahomes from the top, evidenced by Allen’s performance against KC for his career, it’s the reason he’s sh*t on him year after year. This reversal tells me that he’s expecting Allen to struggle with the retooling and thus he’s not a threat to his boy. -
Diggs was him when he arrived and through the first 2 seasons, Allen grew up and no longer needed or appreciated Diggs leadership style. Diggs getting small in the postseason had gotten old. It was time for 17 to take complete ownership of the franchise, there’s zero doubt who’s in charge now.

Anyone Want To Take A Vet Minimum Flier On Yannick Ngakoue?
julian replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, it’s a tight wire walk when it comes to deciding on 2nd contracts for young players who are good, not yet great but have upside and are good locker room guys. The Bills are past due to hit on a 1st round special player, Kincaid has a chance but Rousseau popping off this year might move the needle more than anything else. ps. I’m not predicting a Rousseau emergence, I’m just wishful. -

Fair enough, the only point I would bet against is Rousseau not being one of the starting DEs in 2026, even though he hasn’t become the elite pass rusher everyone hoped for, he’s been a very good DE and I don’t see them letting a 26 yr old DE walk. I’m guessing Bean and Co. are tempted to give him a deal before this season ends, for the record I want to see if he can make the big jump before giving him a contract, but the team might want to gamble and get a team friendly deal and hope it looks like a bargain when he goes off, much like what they did with Oliver. -
lol lighten up, just playing… it’s not that serious. Have a great weekend

You’re unwillingness to procreate is probably helping society, just not for the reasons you suspect.

lol strange turns they topics take at times… the point remains the same.. if trends continue the population will decrease and there’s no signs of people reversing course and having large families once again, the “too many people, not enough resources’ narrative is just false.
-
lol… I’m sure you coming from an honest place of concern, but I’ll just suggest you do some research on human population growth, population growth is in massive decline, people are just not having children and if the current trends hold it spells big problems. “Population growth has declined mainly due to the abrupt decline in the global total fertility rate, from 5.3 in 1963 to 2.3 in 2021. The decline in the total fertility rate has occurred in every region of the world and is a result of a process known as demographic transition”. The old myth of too many people not enough resources is the exact opposite of reality.

This sir, is some ridiculously ignorant commentary, you need to get out and interact with people and adjust your world view… yikes.

I think the Bills decision makers are higher on Epenesa and Rousseau both having big years than the fanbase is. I hope it happens and Von can come back with 5-8 sacks, if that happens the pass rush should be good. -
lol wow, I’m thinking this is a joke… no way you actually believe he’s a “whack job” for having a large family and the financial resources to do it without burdening the taxpayers. Or you just hate kids hahahaha.
-
The 10 kids in of itself isn’t the issue, Phil Rivers has no problem supporting his own, it’s the fact he’s had those 10 kids with 8 different baby mamas, that’s where he done fu*ked up.

There’s plenty of NFL players who aren’t speaking to family members, once an athlete hits the jackpot there’s plenty of family members with unrealistic financial expectations and they have to be cut out of the picture. It’s very unfortunate but it’s a well documented truth, that’s just one example of players not speaking with family members. Nobody knows the real reasons behind any family issues that Rodgers has, so to use that as a reason to say he’s not a good person is uninformed and really silly.
-
lol… a bit much vitriol for an athlete who you’ve never met or had any personal interactions with, you don’t agree with his views so the world is better off without him lol, you must save the really harsh criticism for the actual douchbags in the league who abuse women, animals and endanger the public.

That all seems very reasonable and most likely was the driving force, I didn’t mean to make it sound like Elam only was the reasoning for replacing Butler. I’m sure the idea of Elam flourishing under a new position coach was a smaller side factor and not the driving force, but maybe a blessing in disguise was the thinking in the building.

I think he’s gonna be great, top 5 even but he looks nothing like Allen, and in fairness to the kid nobody does. When are people going to realize the one of one we’re currently witnessing in Buffalo, based off our very small sample size I’m really encouraged by what Stroud has shown. With a tougher schedule and nobody sleeping on them we’ll see how he handles it. ps. I wasn’t referring to you, but fans in general when I said “people”
