49ers first round draft pick Ricky Pearsall shot in San Francisco
julian replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t care, this isn’t shoplifting, this “we must have compassion for criminals and figure out who hurt them” nonsense is hurting good people. I’m over it all, anyway I’m not interested in arguing over these POS criminals, I’d rather focus on the innocent person who was almost killed, I hope he can fully recover and make it back on the field. -

Almost all serious offenders are repeat offenders, so yes that would be a great start in fixing the problem, it doesn’t look like criminals with dozens of convictions on their rap sheet are learning from their mistakes. I find it odd that people feel the need to defend these lowlife garbage humans who prey on the hardworking members of society. -

Hope he fully recovers, just wish criminals were sentenced to very extreme sentences.- 172 replies

I believe Gates is on a short list of all time TEs, if Kincaid is like him then we’re gonna be “A OK” for sure.
-
He’s a talented offensive coordinator hamstrung by an overpaid, physically limited QB with 2 wins against playoff teams in 2 seasons. This guy isn’t HC material, it’s pretty obvious when watching him behind the scenes trying to interact with players, it’s hard to watch. Like a previous poster stated, they probably felt they had no choice and because the salary doesn’t effect the cap, they can always eat the money and kick him to the curb at anytime.

And in other news water is wet, there may not be a less established safety group in the NFL, making the idea of a former 1st round player earning a starter role after a year of learning on the practice squad very attainable. He’s not coming into a room with all pros like Hyde and Poyer, they’re long gone.

In fairness to Cook, Hall doesn’t have a 6’5 250lb mobile QB who gobbles up his opportunities in those situations like Cook has.

The Athletic Survey: Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson?
julian replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
There’s absolutely zero doubt in my mind that being voted most overrated by some players has pissed him off and will undoubtedly fuel his dominance this season. I just hope he’s able to harness that energy in week one and not implode. -
Luck, injuries and McDermott crumbling
-
I agree, I’m fine moving on from him. The owners love and trust him so barring another 13 second coaching debacle, he’s going nowhere anytime soon, and even that might not move the needle enough for Terry to show him the door.

Nobody would argue that the accountability will always fall on the shoulders of the guy with the GM title, the point some are making is McDermott has as much input on his roster as any coach in the league and it’s a substantial amount of input to the point of veto power IMO. Bean isn’t adding a single draft pick or player of standing that McDermott isn’t giving the ok.

Gotta remember most of these players are young in their 20’s.. they are the social media generation, I’m guessing most don’t watch a ton of football and get plenty of info from the “first take” shows of the media landscape. This Allen turnover narrative isn’t going away and will only be overlooked with a championship.

My favourite part of the season has arrived… a week of posts prior to every matchup informing all the fans to not be confident because the opponent is mighty, with numerous aspects of awesomeness and they aren’t to be taken lightly. love it, LFG !!! -
CeeDee Lamb gets paid: 4 year $136M extension

Give Allen Spags as his D coordinator, Allen hasn’t been the reason for failing to get over the hump -
Just to be fair to others… I’ve come in 1st and 2nd respectively in two of the last three years in my work place survivor pool, soooooo not sure you guys wanna waste your time trying to win, for fun I guess.

Other Teams Cuts That Might Help the Bills
julian replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does nobody think how Trubisky must feel scrolling and reading some of these fans lusting after complete garbage backups ?? I love you Mitch, I have complete confidence in you, you seem like a great guy and probably so much fun around the building… never mind these so called fans looking for the next Frank Reich and good luck in the meeting rooms this year. -
Cam Newton, recognizing coverages, disguises and Sean McDermott

Yes and yes -
I believe the staff will take into consideration who Andreessen was playing with this game when comparing to the previous game where he looked incredible playing along side starters. Given the teams injury issues at the position, the kid should make the 53 but I’m often wrong so I don’t pay attention to myself.

Considering I’m the bare knuckle champion of the over 50 division amongst the elderly contingent at our local mall walks every other Thursday…. Hell yeah I’d kick his ginger *ss !!!
