  1. Rex Grossman. Former starter, young, big arm, Super Bowl experience, cold weather guy. He'd be a perfect fit here in Buffalo and could start for us if Trent goes down. He should be had at a fair price too.
  2. What!? Two years off isn't a healing vacation. He's gonna be rusty as hell. He'll be 29 when the season starts and was never polished as a passer. He needs to get reinstated first anyway.
  3. Don't get it? You do know that everyone on this board, and all Bills fans in general, are in complete agreement that our coaching is the problem. Way to ignorantly state the obvious.
  4. Yup. Boy is home sick. He asked for a trade before the season, saying he wanted to be traded to Miami. I think he'll wind up in Miami, which sucks for us. The Giants will make an offer too I think. Problem is, Arizona won't just up and trade him, they'll want to get value. They'll look to grab at least two firsts.
  5. I don't think anyone will pick him up. Too much bad press would come, he'd be a distraction. There's also the simple fact that Vick was never very good and after a two year hiatus spent in jail how good can he be? Fun to watch and a freak athlete. Speed, cannon arm. But he's a china doll and never got established as a passer.
  6. If we were to sign just one guy, it would be him. Next to Stroud, my god, I'm getting giddy at just the thought of it. No one could run on us and both our DEs, no matter who they are, would register 10+ sack seasons. You build through the draft and spend wisely on free agents. You build championship teams from the lineman out. I would give Haynesworth 6 years, $75 million with $30 million guaranteed. Worth every penny.
  7. I haven't seen much of the kid from Rice but I know he caught a ton of balls last year, which is impressive. Coffman does have great hands but I'm wary of him because he's not a true TE IMO. He doesn't line up hand down on the line, he's splits out wide in their spread offense. I consider Coffman to essentially be a giant WR. I need to know he can hold his own in blocking as well as see him get free off the line and run routes when lined up next to a tackle.
  8. I'm surprised this team doesn't know its offensive identity. With a young QB and not one but two awesome RBs we cleary ought to be a run-first team. I just wish Jauron and Schonert could see that. This team needs to run the ball 40 times per game. I want to see Lynch take 25 carries per and Jackson 15. This will wear out defenses and open up the passing game. It doesn't get any more simple.
  9. He'll sign his one-year deal and stay with the Pats. Brady won't be ready but will be by mid-season, then he'll take over and the Pats will either look to deal Cassel or let him walk after the year if Brady looks as if he's recovered.
  10. Nope. Working. But I'd casually watch it if I was at home.
  11. I hope this happens. I'd love to watch the Bills D take it out on JP twice a year.
  12. If the Bills win the Super Bowl I will party like crazy with all of you in the streets of Buffalo, screaming "heeeeeeeeeey hey hey, heeeeeeeeey hey hey, let's go buffalo, let's go buffalo" until my voice goes. Then I will kill myself because my life would be complete and I could die a happy man.
  13. I know he was legitimately hurt but we gave him a 7-year $50 million contract and those double digit sacks disappeared. And he'd never missed a game before. He owes us a 10+ sack season next year.
  14. Adrian Wilson and Brian Dawkins. And yes, I would want them on the Bills.
  15. I'll reserve judgement until I see what happend in FA and the draft, but Jauron is a bad coach and his retention didn't sit well with me at all.
  16. He didn't want to come here when we were 5-1 so why would he now?
  17. He played great all year and made that RIDICULOUS one-handed diving catch in the endzone. I think it was on MNF. Once he has a contract in hand he'll revert back to sloth mode.
  18. He hasn't busted yet. He went 8-5 as a starter in his rookie season. Then he lead the Titans to the playoffs the next. He had some personal issues and had a bad year, but he hasn't busted. He'll get another shot.
  19. Hmm, no better than three years ago huh? Well, that explains the three straight 7-9s. Thanks!
  20. Despite these harsh economic times I would drop $50 on a Bills SB XXV Champions shirt. It'd be a cool momento. A man can dream can't he!
  21. Great player, no one argues that. The point was that despite running a team into the ground over the last seven years, culminating in an 0-16 season and his firing, it is quite surprising that he would be sought to give analysis so soon, if at all. Knowing what he did in Detroit, how can someone listen to him and take what he's saying. He has no credibility with this football fan.
  22. Nate Washington absolutely burned him in the first. Only reason he got a hand on the pass was because it was under-thrown by Ben and Nate had to stop and wait for it.
  23. Holmes was lights out. Ben was okay, IMO. I would've given it Harrison.
