  1. It was on just the other day too.
  2. Wouldn't give more than a 4th.
  3. Thank God he's done. Of course, I won't believe it until the regular season rolls around. Learned that lesson last year.
  4. Bang on. Lynch is top-5, no doubt. He needs to be given the ball 20-25 times a game. He's a legit every down back. Lynch needs to get the ball at least 340 times a season. He'd lead the league in rushing. There were a couple games where Lynch was avaeraging 6 and 8 yards a carry going into the fourth and was unstoppable. Then Jauron would just stop pounding the ball and let JP fumble the game away.
  5. True that. Although the $1 hot dogs on "family day" are a nice change from the usual price gorging.
  6. The guy likes to hurdle people, lol. Against Texas, he would've been tackled but the ref set a pick for him. Dirty! I don't deny his receiving prowess, but I'm so sure about him. I liken him to something of a giant WR. He plays in the spread and is always split out wide. We need a TE who can catch passes and has the body size, strength and experience to play on the line. Enter Brandon Pettigrew. I don't like Pettigrew at 11 but I think he's a perfect fit for us.
  7. I'm very excited to see Steve Johnson next year. He came on very strong at the end of the season and I think he's gonna build on it. I'm looking for him to claim the number two spot in camp, moving Reed to the slot where he can be most effective. This moves Parrish to a 4th WR spot, where he belongs. At 6'2" Steve Johnson has the size too. He ran some great slants last year and made some great catches. And don't count out Hardy. I know he's hurt but he's gonna come back strong. I hope he uses the down time to watch film and digest the playbook while rehabbing his knee. He's too physcally gifted not to be a contributor somewhere down the line. I don't think we need a WR. But we need a TE in the worst ind of way.
  8. Two preseason game and seven regular season games. Nine total.
  9. I don't find that funny.
  10. That's actually not true. They have A LOT of FAs this year. Dansby is an $8 million/year LB. Bertrand Berry is a FA. With Edge set to leave, they'll need to bring in an RB. Not to mention re-signing Warner.
  11. This is the second mock that I've seen having us take Nelson in round two.
  12. Anyone who watched the Bills last year knows that while the lack of sacks is unsettling, our problem was on offense. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills went O in the first. Especially if they don't have any of the DEs ranked high on their board. The Bills will target their needs, and we have many, so we are in a great position to address one of these needs with any one of the top prospects. Obviously it'll boil down to who we have ranked at the top of our board when our turn comes, but I expect the Bills to grab a good prospect who fills a need. Of course until free agency is over and we see who we sign, all bets are off. We'll know more after the Combine too.
  13. Ain't it the truth?
  14. Cool. Thanks for that post. I love this part: "The Bills are 10-0 when Edwards has a passer rating of at least 80.0 (including 7-0 in 2008) in games he has at least 20 pass attempts." That is a very telling stat to me. It says that Trent must stay healthy and start all 16. It says that if Peters is happy and ready, the O-Line is rolling and Trent stays vertical and can complete passes. It says that by having a good ground game and being a run-first offense, we can take pressure off Trent and give him an easier time in the pass game with defenses cheating up. QB is the most important position in football. I'm a pro-Trent guy and think he's the future. For those of you who aren't, like it or not, Trent is our QB and as Trent goes, so do the Bills. We need to get Peters locked up and in camp, get the center position solved, unleash Beastmode and Coe more often, and bring in a pass catching TE. Do that and with some defensive upgrades, we're playoff bound.
  15. People hated RJ because he was terrible. Trent's young and is the future for us. He's still getting better.
  16. One of the best teams ever. Stacked from top to bottom with unreal talent.
  17. Because the 3-4 is more and more common in the NFL these days, players are now being projected as to how they may fit in a 3-4. It's not so much that these guys are better off in the 3-4, it's just that draft analysts have to take into account that NFL teams play both the 4-3 and the 3-4 and so they have to project how guys will fit into each scheme.
  18. I can't resist the punishment. A part of me believes that one day that kick will be good. I guess that's why I'm watching. I'm trying to will it through.
  19. Boldin not Bolden. Trades like this are so incredibly uncommon. And yet here we have another trade Peters thread that is also a trade for Boldin thread!
  20. You're making an awful lot of assumptions there sir. Mind you, the Bills need only sign one free agent and fill the rest of their needs through the draft. Pay Haynesworth a 6-year $80 million deal and watch the D become top three.
  21. I'm so surprised that Huff never panned out. I thought he was a sure thing. He was so good in that Texas defensive backfield. Big hitter and always around the ball. What the hell happened?
