This is surprising news, to say the least. I could see how McDaniels would want one of "his" guys at QB but Cutler is clearly the better QB, at least for now anyway.

I'm high on Trent. But we need to surround him with weapons/talent. I was hoping to see us make a splash in free agency. Instead, I'm relegated to watching our divisional counterparts make roster upgrades and improvements.

That's awesome. He wants to get paid, but isn't necessarily willing to play for a loser in order to get the max money. lol. $7M/year is a lot for a C.

Seriously. We need a guy to play OLB and this guy is a good OLB. He's a 4-3 LB and he played well for Atlanta. He fell out of favour there but still played well. He's only 26 and is a riser. Lombardi and Wyche on NFLN last night both said they felt he's a future pro bowler. We have a need and he can fill it. And since the good Cs are gone, there were no DEs or TEs, the Bills FO should be all over this guy. I don't get it. They need to fly his ass in and make him a big offer so he doesn't even leave town to visit other teams.

Coles may be 31 but he plays like he's 27. He is still very much a competitive player and can be a difference maker in this league. And while WR isn't a big need for us, it couldn't hurt to add some veteran saavy to a lackluster receiving corps.

He's a 3-4 LB. Not saying he couldn't man it in a 4-3, but we have Poz there. Lewis can still play but I don't wanna see us bring in a 34 year old as our key signee. Besides, Ray wouldn't come here, we suck. He'd rather play in a 3-4 and play for a competitor.
