  1. That's not the right way to go about it, but he does have a point. Hardy is still a nobody and Owens is a bonafide star. Still, Owens shouldn't create this rift and just give Hardy some cash, it'll probably only be for a year anyway.
  2. So far so good, but it's early.
  3. Bronco fan or not, you really have no business comparing Cutler to Elway.
  4. It doesn't scream defense. Our needs at tight end, guard and center are very real and need to be addressed.
  5. A couple of the Bills players are known to visit a place called "Dragonfly" in the the Falls. And of course the Sundowner. While Buffalo may be somewhat lacking in nightlife compared to places like Miami and NY, Toronto is only a short clip away and offers fabulous nightlife on par with party cities like Miami and NY.
  6. The same is for all QBs. Besides, that just means he's getting the ball to playmakers and putting them in a position to get yards.
  7. They usually show PTI in Canada on TSN but instead they're showing curling! Ahhhh! Dammit. I'll have to catch the pod cast on espn.com instead.
  8. I want him back. But he'd sooner take a huge discount than come back here. The Bills FO eff'd up and burned that bridge.
  9. Edwards is a highly accurat passer. He may run hot and cold still, but last year was his first as a starter and he completed 65.5% of his passes while Russell in his first year as a starter completed 53.8% of his passes. And while were on that, P. Manning completed 66.8%, Brees 65%, Rivers 65.3%, Romo 61.3%, McNabb 60.4%, M. Ryan 61.1%, and Warner 67.1%. So, Trent's in some good company here. Check-downs or not, Trent is an accurate passer. A completion's a completion and an incompletion is an incompletion. 65.5% is an impressive number given how young he is, in his first year as a starter. The TD to INT ratio is typical for a young QB who's growing. Trent is an accurate passer.
  10. Yeah, he threw for over 4,000 yards in both 2006 and 2007, but both years he threw more INTs than TDs. Also, the Lions went 5-11 and 7-9 those two years. I'm not convinced.
  11. I started a thread yesterday on this, I think they'll do Bills/Pats in Toronto, and on Monday Night Football too. Sticking Owens, Moss and Tommy-boy in Toronto for the weekend makes for a great headline. I said I wouldn't support the Bills in Toronto thing, but even I'd have to buy tickets for that one. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=84906
  12. I think the remaining OLBs are just waiting it out, trying to see if a team will spring and overpay them. Eventually I think one of the OLBs will wind up in Buffalo.
  13. I still think it's a forward pass. No Bills bias, it was a phucking forward pass!
  14. WHAT!? WHAT!!?? Martz? Our strength is the run game and Martz doesn't use his RBs. I hate Martz's offense. He made Detroit? They were terrible.
  15. With Owens in the fold and hopefully a pass catching tight end too, I expect Schonert to call more aggressive plays. He has more weapons to utilize and with Edwards hopefully making progress, the offense should open up as he gets more comfortable with the system. Year two with Schonert should show improvement.
  16. The Bills are probably giving him the number because they don't want this thing to start off on a sour note. They need to keep this guy happy from the get go. Hardy should just give it up to Owens anyway, he's a sophmore who hasn't proven anything yet. Besides, he can probably just get it back next year.
  17. lol, I'm just kidding.
  18. Arm strength is important but it is overrated. Edwards is a highly accurate passer and that is more important. Case and point, Jamarcus Russell has the strongest arm in the world and can hurl it 60 yards from his knees, but he isn't a good QB.
  19. He's worth keeping and giving $70M to.
  20. I read them the other day. Pretty funny. Sad too though, cuz he got his ass fired, which is also funny!
  21. He's not Barry Bonds. They should just give him a regualr locker and treat him like everyone else.
