  1. Yeah, there's been a rumor that we're bringing in a "well-known" guard for a visit. I'll see if I can find the thread/link.
  2. He's such a baby. I an't believe how childish he's being. Such a suck-hole.
  3. I got that letter too. I'm thinkin about goin. Should be fun. Although if the FO *ucks up and drafts a DB I'm gonna burn down the fieldhouse. Just kidding.
  4. A few people think that the "well-known OG" we're expected to bring in tomorrow is either Mike Goff or Pete Kendall.
  5. My thoughts exactly.
  6. He's an athelte, I'd bet my life he was working out. It's just that personal workouts will always pale in comparison to the highly organized, team-based nature of training camp. He could workout and do all the drills he wants but it wouldn't make up for live situations with his teammates and with pads on. It's like comparing apples and oranges if you ask me. He wasn't out of shape, he was out of football shape.
  7. Cutler is being such a baby it's incredible.
  8. Peters' poor play last year can be directly contributed to his not being in camp and showing up the day before the home opener. Otherwise, he would've been lights out. I truly believe that. While everyone should be wary of paying him and watching him go into some kind of sloth mode, I think if he gets his money he'll be in camp, playing hard, getting conditioned and getting better. The whole line benefits. And seeing how he protects the blindside of our young and developing QB, I'd say it's awful important we get him satisfied. Trading him is an option, but drafting LTs is not an exact science. There's risk. At least we know we have a talented and capable player in Peters.
  9. And I suppose we're supposed to take back Clements when the Niners realize they got hoodwinked on that ex-Bill and release him too.
  10. Kendall makes sense as far as the whole "well-known" thing is concerned. Can Waters come in since he's under contract with the Chiefs? They have to give permission, no? In ay case, I'll be keeping my ear to the ground for both this and what comes of Crowell's visit.
  11. I disagree. He never said one word until after he made his pro bowl. At that point it was clear he was a very talented player at a very important position. He probably couldn't help but notice how much more money the retard next to him was making. When he signed his extension, he was a RT. Then they moved him to LT, a higher paid position. He's right to want more money, he just hasn't quite gone about it the right way. The guy has done whatever the Bills coaching staff has asked of him. He went undrafted, played ST as a wedge buster and saw some spot duty at TE in situational plays, then he played RT, then LT and made the pro bowl. That's pretty impressive stuff if you ask me.
  12. He was probably paying lip service, but last year he said he loved Buffalo andthat they took a chance on him and developed him. He said he wanted to finish his career in Buffalo. I'm still in favour of signing him to an extension.
  13. True that. But you have to wonder if a dome favours Edwards and the passing game.
  14. Assuming two things: We trade Peters for Philly's two 1sts and we sign a starting OLB, then: 11th: LT Monroe/Smith 21st: TE Pettigrew 28th: DE Ayers/English/Johnson 42nd: OG Robinson/Levitre
  15. Blasphemey! I will not hear such nonsense.
  16. The secondary is one player away (safety). The ST unit is SB caliber, but you have to be concerned with how poorly Lindell finished the year. Coaching staff and FO? Ha! Not even close.
  17. Did you just call Miami a marquee team? Get out. Now.
  18. I hear ya. I think I'd like the Cleveland or Houston game in TO. I like seeing the NFC opponents because they only come to town once every eight years! Yeah, guys like Manning are the ones you wanna see in person. Plus puttin those dome teams outside makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
  19. There's a lot of people in Toronto, so you can bet there's quite a few bandwagon jumpers there who love 'em because they win more football games than they lose.
  20. I like it more than putting one of our divisional opponents there. Divisional games are so important, we need to have them at home. Our real home.
  21. http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/03/15/to-manning...ame-in-toronto/ Thoughts?
  22. We have seven WRs, not six.
  23. I like Walker where he is. Butler is solid too. We need to bring in someone to play that LG spot, but I don't wanna start moving guys around.
  24. That's what PFT and rotoworld were speculating. And I emphasize speculating. Don't shoot the messenger.
