  1. The Pats keep bringing in vets and always remain competitive, but their off-season signings this year don't scare me one bit. Moss and Welker do, though. Belichik is a great coach but their season is gonna hinge on Tom's health and recovery.
  2. You're rigth, we shouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. But three sources have confirmed he was over the limit (one says .14 the other two say .12). And since he killed someone with his car, they're saying that he faces mandatory jail time no matter what he pleas to. The noose is tightening around his neck, but he could still slip out of it. But certainly looks bad. Two sources say .12 and the third source says .14.
  3. Yeah, in '07 McCargo flashed a lot of potential. He made a few big plays that stood out. I was excited to see what he would do last year, build on his success and benefit from playing beside Stroud. The setbacks were disappointing, to say the least. Then the trade that got voided because of his back. I never heard much about his beef with Kollar, but hopefully with him gone McCargo can focus on football and get better. I can only imagine how awkward it must have been for him to come back after being traded.
  4. Rogers' questionable attitutde and work ethic are off-putting. And so is his contract. The guy has enormous talent (not to mention he is enormous), but he only plays when he wants to (which is rarely) and he has weight control issues. I say pass on Rogers but draft Raji if he's there.
  5. UPDATE: per rotoworld.com: Donte' Stallworth's lawyer and Miami police are reportedly negotiating the terms of Stallworth's surrender. Stallworth is facing a possible DUI manslaughter charge, which would carry a 15-year jail sentence if he's convicted. Miami's WSVN reports that even with a plea deal, a manslaughter conviction would still carry mandatory jail time. Stallworth's blood test results are due on Friday, with three separate sources are already reporting that he was over the legal limit. He's going to jail.
  6. Jake Long's deal put him at $11.5M per and Peters' camp said he wanted to be the highest paid LT in the league. That means he wants more than the $11.5M Long makes.
  7. Reminds me of Cromartie because he got hurt and couldn't play but entered the draft anyway and got picked in the first round. It'll be interesting to see where he goes. Freak athelte TE who played in a spread offense though. Someone will take a chance on him. Bet he goes in the 2nd.
  8. He may as well just hand that bonus money over the victim's family. He's gettin civil suit action OJ-style.
  9. For conduct detrimental to the NFL. lol
  10. He was probably drinking that night and the alcohol level in his blood was progressively decreasing which is why he was only "slightly" over the limit when they breath-checked him.
  11. Here's the link to the original Stallworth thread if the mods wanna merge it. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=85167
  12. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/HeadLines...L&hl=141452 Not good. This is a report from a Florida TV station and neither the police nor Stallworth are commenting. This thing just got much worse. He's gonna get sued by the victim's kin and could face jail time (unsure on Florida laws here). 13. I've watched him play and he takes poor angles in pursuit, is out of position in pass coverage and isn't good at staying with defenders. Williams has a unique skill set that must be utilized in a specific way, but he is poor in pass coverage.
  14. I think it'll be based on Peters being the highest paid LT in the biz. And the only way that relates to the top pick is if the top pick happens to be a LT. Either way, the guy is looking for at least $12M per season. Insane.
  15. He's making his first visit today. To Cincy! lol. But he had his best years under Cincy's current DC, Mike Zimmer, so it makes sense.
  16. Priority? The season doesn't start for another five months. He has a lot of time to make his decision. But taking all things into consideration and not rushing his decision, don't you think all parties stand to benefit?
  17. I beg to differ. Having two dominant interior lineman immensely improves our pass rush. It means we have two guys worthy of being double-teamed, it means the pocket is collapsing faster, it means QBs will have a harder time stepping up in the pocket and completing their throws, it means no double teams for the DEs.
  18. Yeah, aren't they $100M over the cap now?
  19. The Commish is gonna review Lynch's "file" and take everything into consideration. I too want it over with so we can know what's up and move past it, putting it behind us.
  20. He plays/runs so hard, I just love watching him with the ball. He's a gamer, all heart.
  21. Lynch said he expects a ruling in about 10 days. I've heard as low as a week and as high as three weeks.
  22. I like the list though, it's fairly accurate. Also, I like how they say Raji is a great fit in Buffalo. I couldn't agree more and I hope Raji is still on the board at 11. He's a can't-miss prospect and partnered with Stroud, we would have an unstoppable interior line that could not be run on.
