  1. Thanks for quick response! It does seem like a lot of money and hopefully Johnson and Hardy make strides this year and pan out. But TO is no ordinary 35 year old, he's a physical specimen.
  2. Tim, Terrell Owens' reporting to the voluntary workouts is great news and a real positive for us Bills fans. I'm curious, I heard rumors a while back that his contract has a clause in it saying he can't be franchised after the season. Is there any truth to that?
  3. He's an asset to NFLN. He is always spot on and is very good at getting and reporting accurate information. They need to do whatever it takes to keep him there. He's one of the few "good" people they have. Jamie Dukes, Warren Sapp and Charles Davis are all knuckleheads. Terrell Davis is okay sometimes. I watch NFLN a lot and I find these guys rather sub par.
  4. LB/S hybrid? Sounds like Coy Wire to me.
  5. Absolutely. WRs are rendered useless if you don't have a QB who can get him the ball, a line to give him time or a second WR to take double coverage away. DBs are less dependent on others than WRs, for sure.
  6. Yeah, but IMO those are trumped by the fact that you can't cover all day. Any good QB will find a target if he has all day to throw. A pass rush hurries QBs, prevents them from stepping up in the pocket and forces bad throws, which can turn into turnovers which are the most telling stat in football. There are two sides to the debate, no doubt, but to me the pass rush takes precedent over DBs. JMHO.
  7. This board would crash. Many of us, myself included, would become suicidal, lol. I mean, we need a safety, but DBs can't do jack if you can't apply any pressure up front.
  8. Can you put up the link for round one.
  9. True, true. Millen is a moron. But CJ is gonna be a hall of famer. He is crazy good. They've been a total mess for years, but ignoring the lines and QB was their main problem.
  10. That image is forever burned into my brain. It symbolized how bad or season was. I'll never forget it, such a freak play, the ball literally went up his crack and then FUMBLE! Terrible.
  11. If only we still had Bill Polian...
  12. Good depth move, IMO. The competition for O-Line spots should yeild some decent results from the guys we have. While it's not a sexy move, I like it. Chambers, Bell, Hangartner, McKinnie all competing for interior line spots, someone will emerge from this group.
  13. That is a bad mock, as a whole. Kudos to him for making things interesting and going against what other mocks have, but this mock almost seems to defy all logic. However, I could see the Bills taking Crabtree and wouldn't have any problem with it at all. WRs take time to develop and TO is only on board for a year, so it makes sense. It's also a case of best-player-available. Crabtree being there at pick 11 constitutes a fall and we'd be silly not to jump all over that. Forty time, or not, he's a machine and he'd look great in Bills uniform.
  14. x2 I'm gonna cry if we take any CB anywhere in the first 4 rounds. Too many other needs and we're deep at CB.
  15. My guess is because the guy went against what he said a few weeks prior and showed up to a voluntary workout. That goes against his usually MO and paints him more as a "team-guy". It is news, but not drama-news, so there wasn't anything exciting to write about. Which is a good thing!
  16. lol, the big board isn't a mock draft.
  17. Now that I think about it, where is he indeed? I have not seen or heard from him for a couple weeks. He's not on NFLN anymore, nor has he posted any new articles nfl.com.
  18. This only confirms what most of us had been thinking. It makes sense with all the WRs we now have. It also says that the team is both high on and confident in both Johnson and Hardy moving forward. It's not easy paying a guy what 'scoe makes to pretty much just return kicks. Although he is very good at it.
  19. Bingo. A normal person would stop and check on the person they just hit and offer any help they can.
  20. Some still have him rated as a second rounder. I'm liking this guy more and more. And with the amount of game tape Mayock watches, I'm inclined to believe him.
  21. Damn. More than I thought/hoped for. I thought the consensus was two games max. This sucks. I think Fred Jackson has gained at least a little leverage in terms of getting a deal done now.
  22. I thought it had more to do with Ralph's daughter. Not sure on this though. In any case, someone eff'd up... big time.
  23. Cool! That's great to hear. He's gonna have a good year.
  24. Bruuuuuce. Let's all go to Indy and kidnap Polian, bring him back to Buffalo and chain him to the Ralph. Who's with me?
