  1. There's still plenty of time. But with th economy I could see some holders opting not to renew in favour of just going to one or two games instead of all seven.
  2. It goes like this: Jauron -> Guy -> Modrak -> Brandon -> Ralph Jauron has his input on what he needs/wants. Guy is the personnel/free agency guy. Modrak is the colleg player/scout guy. Brandon is more of a marketing/business guy but he is the defacto GM. While Ralph takes all the opinions into account, he pretty much just signs off on whatever these guys send his way.
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills put Walker at LT and Chambers at RT, while eventually inserting Bell into RT and then flipping him to LT nex year. Much like they did with Peters. Not saying Bell is a Peters clone, but he has certainly shown potential and is an interesting and exciting prospect on this team.
  4. That's not a diss. He's stating a fact. It is colder up here. Plus, it's coming from a guy who knows what playing in the cold is all about. I'm cool with it.
  5. I can't help but think that if Andre Smith is there at 11, the Bills will take him. And I'm cool with that.
  6. Jackson is no Parrish when it comes to returning punts. But I'm with VOR on this, Jackson can do the job and do it well. And let's not forget that McKelvin can return punts too.
  7. I'm still very high on Hardy and I fully believe he will become a very good WR. He is very big and athletic. He just needs to polish his route running and learn to use his body to his advantage. He definately looks like a solid number two WR going forward, but then again so does Steve Johnson. And I think Johnson will actually wind up the better of the two.
  8. Thanks Tim. Definately keep us posted on that one, I'd love to see big John in Bills blue, lining up next to Stroud.
  9. Tim Graham said it's a 6th. But I also read reports that that pick is still being decided on by both teams. Ultimately, I trust TG and that it is indeed a 6th.
  10. I got this off buffalorumblings.com: Judge: Bills turned down first- and third-round picks in 2009 CBS Sports' Clark Judge reported on the trade earlier this afternoon and included this little nugget: Initially, one source close to the Eagles said, Buffalo considered making the trade for a first- and third-rounder this year but, in the end, held out for three draft picks to give the Bills more flexibility. The Eagles' third round pick is No. 85 overall - and they've obviously retained that selection. The Bills chose to take an extra pick next season, sacrificing 36 spots in this year's pecking order in the process. Feel free to speculate on possible reasons why - if you're asking me, I think the decision is tied to the ultimate fate of WR Roscoe Parrish, another Bill currently on the trade block. Not sure if this has been posted, but I couldn't find it. But I apologize in advance if it has been posted. I thought this was rather interesting and I can see why the Bills did that, but I still think I would've rather had the 3rd instead of the 4th and 6th.
  11. Getting Bills Seasons Tickets is the best investment I've ever made. You'll have a great time!
  12. Bingo. Agree with everything you said. Finally, a smart post in this dumb thread. Lynch isn't going anywhere, he is the franchise RB and is the long term future of the Bills rushing attack.
  13. I'm excited too but the O-Line is a huge question mark now. And that has me worried.
  14. Because IMO that's where the value for them is. Smith, Monroe and Smith all figure to go early and Oher won't last until pick 28. We have a serious problem in Buffalo, where in the 2009 NFL season we will have an entirely new LT, LG and C. It doesn't matter if we have Evans, Owens, Lynch, and Jackson. How's Edwards gonna get them the ball when his blindside protection isn't fortified? Good LT's go early and we need one now. Just my honest opinion.
  15. Tim, There's a rumor on a website called profootballcentral.com that says the Bills are trying to trade for DT John Henderson. Naturally, this has many Bills fans excited and giddy over the thought of reuniting Stroud with his old linemate. Here's the link to the TSW thread: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=87178 Can you comment on this? I know John Clayton said the Bills weren't done dealing, so maybe this is something being seriously explored by the Bills and Jags.
  16. I want him on the Bills too. But I really think he can be had with the 28th pick. We need to grab a LT with 11. But if we're not sure on whether he'll last until 28, we can try and move up a few spots.
  17. True about the drop in play. But the Jags thought Stroud was done too, maybe we can hoodwink them twice! I can't help but think that reuniting these two would bring out the best in both of them. And while it was three, four years ago when they were shutting down run games, I believe they can revisit that era and do the same thing here in Buffalo. Also, if the rumors I've heard is a 4th for Henderson and that teams wouldn't give more than a 4th for Parrish, and given the need for WRs in Jacksonville, maybe a Henderson for Parrish straight up trade could suffice for both teams. That'd be sweet.
  18. I think he's likely to bust, but worth a 2nd rounder. The knock on him is he didn't put up the numbers despite his incredible talent and athletic ability. Teams question his work ethic, motivation, dedication to/love of football, and motor. It almost doesn't even make sense that a guy could have his blend of size and speed and not put up better numbers.
  19. And to think that it was all because of some balloons. What kind of deadly, evil, hell-spawned balloons were these?
  20. I think it's silly to trade Parrish just because we suddenly find ourselves deep at WR. We won't get much for him because of this, anyway. It's not worth trading him. And quite frankly, I wouldn't mind him being the full-time punt and kick returner. I know he doesn't do kickoffs, but he could. That way McKelvin can keep his energy and focus for just playing CB and locking down number one WRs.
  21. And you have to think that both he a Stroud would be absolutely thrilled to play together again. This would be a dream come true for me. It all starts in those trenches.
  22. Anybody watch the video on the link? That is a big, scary man.
  23. The first three picks I like and they also seem realistic and probable. As for our 3rd rounder, we should use it to grab the top LG, which very well be Duke Robinson or Levitre.
