  1. Good question, Beerball. We still have needs at LT, OLB and DT. I hope we can still hammer out a trade for DT John Henderson. OLB Freddy Keiaho is still available. Leroy Hill will cost too much.
  2. WTF!? Seriously. Like phuck off with the DBs. Geez.
  3. Oh c'mon. Enough with the DBs. Seriously. What the hell. This looks like a ST/Bobby April pick. Ugh, I hate it. Stupid pick, IMO.
  4. You are so far off. Maybin will play DE. Levitre may have been projected as a OG but he played LT and RT in college, so I wouldn't call him a natural OG. Harris played S in college and will play OLB for us, not the other way around.
  5. per nfldraftcountdown.com, They have him listed as an OLB prospect. Strengths: Outstanding size and bulk...Good tackler...Excellent instincts...Tough and physical...Active and aggressive...A decent blitzer...Nice special teams potential...Hard worker...Mature...Team leader...Durable and has a lot of experience...Was real productive...Offers some versatility. Weaknesses: Does not have very good speed or quickness...Lacks fluid hips...Isn't a big hitter...Just average hands and ball skills...Range is limited...Will struggle to turn and run in coverage ... Might not have a true position. Notes: Played safety for the Sooners but will most likely move to outside linebacker in the pros...Was a three-year starter...Named 2nd Team All-Big 12 as a sophomore and earned 1st Team honors in 2007 and 2008....Had a rough upbringing and overcame a lot of adversity...Sat out spring practice in 2008 while he nursed a shoulder injury...Classic 'tweener who doesn't have the speed to play safety in the pros but isn't really big enough to play linebacker...Possesses better intangibles than physical tools...Should be either an in-the-box strong safety or a weakside linebacker at the next level but his best chance to make a roster might come on special teams...Fantastic college player but isn't nearly the pro prospect his press clippings would lead you to believe.
  6. Well, my intial reaction was an expletive. I wanted Freeman. But at 235lbs I guess he can move to OLB. And with a 4.8 40, he ought to.
  7. Oh for phuck sakes. We need a linebacker.
  8. Marcus Freeman. Draft him!
  9. Yep. Great value and fills a need. He fell right into our laps and we're all smiling from ear to ear. What's not to like?
  10. Yeah. Should be interesting to watch them all compete in Camp. These are some versatile lineman. It's a good probem to have. I just hope they get it settled quick so that they can get in their reps, get comfortable and protect Trent so he can get the ball to all of his new weapons.
  11. Interesting. Provided we grab an OLB next, the Bills will have done a great job of meshing need with value. We've grabbed some guys who are true football players. Love it.
  12. Maybe we can cut Kelsay to clear up some space.
  13. That's what buffalorumblings.com speculated as our starting O-Line, so Ill go with that. Looks good to me.
  14. Definately something worth exploring. But he didn't sign his $8.3M tender, so he's clearly looking for a big contract. With all these high draft choices, can we even afford to sign him?
  15. Time will tell. But Wood will start right away and Nelson will see the field too, especially in the red zone.
  16. Well said. Thanks. But I think that a lot of his "getting pushed around" and people saying he isn't strong against the run and has some trouble getting off blocks. I think that has a lot to do with his youth. He is only 21, as he gains experience he will get better. And with him playing at 236lbs, it's understandable he wasn't stout against the run and had some trouble with blocks. With him bulking up to over 250lbs and hopefully to around 260-265lbs, he should improve dramatically in those areas. And with his work ethic, why not? He should be a good one, it just may take two or three years before he fully hits his stride and starts putting up those 10+ sack seasons. He's got the potential and talent.
  17. There are still some FAs left, yes, but I'd like us to draft an OLB next. If Freeman is still on the board next round (doubt it, though), we should be all over it.
  18. Great pick. His receiving ability adds balance to our stable of young TEs.
  19. I love it. Now all we gotta do is grab an OLB next and this'll be a great draft.
  20. Great pick, great value. Fills a big need. I love it. He needs to bulk up a bit and become a better blocker, but he's a legitimate receiving threat from the TE position. Our red zone offense just got a little better.
  21. Boom! Sweet. Yeah!
  22. You suck. The draft is awesome. All rounds are good. We're talking about adding new players to our team who will help shape the future of our franchise.
