  1. I agree. It's a relatively weak LT class. But positional value reigns supreme (sometimes). We need a LT.
  2. Cribbs isn't going anywhere. As for Rogers, he has some motivation/work ethic issues but I'd love to see him in a Bills uni, he's a beast when he wants to be.
  3. Man I hate the Jets. I'm surprised Braylon didn't drop that.
  4. I'm a football guy and I follow it 24/7, 365. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable when it comes to the NFL, but when we announced this hiring, the first words out of my mouth were, "Who the f**k is Curtis Modkins?"
  5. Take your own advice and think before you post. This is asinine. No doubt he is physically gifted, he's big and can heave it like no other. But he sucks at football, can't read a defense, has no confidence, has only regressed, has zero work ethic, and isn't accountable for his poor play. He's just awful and is the worst starter in the league. He is a bust of epic proportions and a dissappointment. Worst number one overall pick ever.
  6. As it stands right now, pre-combine/pro days, I'm of the opinion all four of those players will be gone by pick nine. Mike Mayock knows his stuff though. And he is the draft guru. There is no one else. Kiper and McShay don't have a clue.
  7. Yeah but he took over a star-studded team with Aikman, Smith and Sanders among others. Do we have stars at those three key positions? And that was 12 years ago too. I'm hoping for the best but I'm preparing for the worst.
  8. Well that's a kick in the teeth. I think I would've rather not known that because if he was our HC we would have a killer power run game and make the playoffs. But who wants that? Here's to three more years of mediocrity.
  9. Love this bit: "He has no business being a head coach in this league"
  10. The cast just cut up the Bills for this hire. Anybody else watching? Some of the "highlights" : -Wood Paige said Gailey is the "offensive version of Dick Jauron, a conservative, nice guy." -Not the best choice and that Frazier would be the better choice. Blackistone said "it used to be you hired the hot defensive co-ordinator." -Gailey is a good OC, bad HC. His so-called experience as a HC resulted in ho-hum results. His time at Dallas was shortlived and he did "okay." He was average at best at GT and most of his seasons were 7-win seasons. I'm trying to have an open mind and be positive but right now I'm doing this:
  11. Good piece that sounds spot-on. Lombardi knows his stuff and has the insider info. Here's hoping he's wrong.
  12. Agreed. Especially Theisman. I hate him, he is so annoying and ridiculous. I have no idea how he has a job in broadcasting, he rubs everyone the wrong way.
  13. My God we are negative. Ten years of futility will do that to you, though. No wonder Schobel wants to retire.
  14. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=105239 Thief! Thief! Stole my thread!
  15. "Leslie Frazier is said to be the leader in the clubhouse for the Bills job. Blew away Buddy Nix in interview. Jim Trotter of Sports Illustrated" http://www.buffalorumblings.com/ Still holding out hope for Cowher though.
  16. Brutal. It should read, "paid for by illiterate Bills fans."
  17. Mort says that, but take his words in the right context. Ralph said Nix is GM and will hire the new coach. Nix reports to Brandon who in turn reports to Ralph. Since Ralph owns the team and signs the checks, I would imagine he has some say in who the Bills hire. Sheesh.
  18. He's considering retirement because the losing is wearing him thin. The guy plays hard and produces but this team has gone nowhere during his tenure. Can't say I blame him for feeling that way.
  19. MLBs don't usually go very high. I think there's a good chance he will be there at pick nine.
  20. Jim Kelly has clearly and publicly stated he has absolutely no interest in coaching.
  21. I friggin love Buffalo.
  22. I'm thinking positive and that all these smoke screens and mirrors mean one thing: After the Rooney Rule is covered, Bill Cowher will be the next Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills.
  23. If we can't get Cowher then Grimm is my choice.
