  1. He disappears at times in games and he hasn't been as productive as he used to be. He'll be looking for a huge money deal and someone will give it to him. Quite frankly, I think our money would be better spent elsewhere. Aaron Kampman can be had for quite less and will be just as productive.
  2. The NFL would have to approve the move to Toronto. And with the small market Bills next door and already in the Toronto market with the Bills in Toronto Series, the Rams moving to Toronto is a long shot at best.
  3. Two things: 1. Mayock is the #1 draft guru. 2. This mock is rather awful.
  4. I'll be very upset if he's our new DC. It would be a poor choice. But since Chan is bringing over all his old KC co-workers it's a safe bet that Clancy will be our new DC. This sucks.
  5. I meant he played for 12 seasons and had a great career as a whole.

  7. And Ray Lewis And Jamal Lewis And Odell Thurman And Michael Irvin And that's all I got for now.
  8. He is a first-ballot HOFer. The voters are insane at times but Warner has had a great 12 seasons. Won the MVP, won a Super Bowl and made the long-time joke of a franchise Cardinals relevant and had them within inches of winning it. And he did it with class and dignity. His rise to the NFL is a great story too. Sure-fire HOFer IMO.
  9. It's widely accepted that the most important positions in football are: 1. QB 2. LT 3. DE
  10. Titled, "Vick and Buffalo", right next to a thread titled, "Buffalo and Vick". Gotta love it. Ignorance is bliss!
  11. Tim, Can you offer any insight into our new OC. I consider myself fairly current with today's NFL but I must admit I know nothing about this man. Never heard of him. I'm also concerned about his calling our run game considering how poorly Arizona ran the ball. I know Grimm was the run-game co-ordinator but Modkins coached the RBs and they didn't do so well. Of course, they don't have Fred Jackson! Any info would be much appreciated.
  12. Absolutely true. It's just a point that he was fortunate enough to play behind another potential 1st rounder who made his life easier. That mammoth space-eating, blocker-occupying beast allowed McClain to roam free, untouched, sideline to sideline. Poor defense. His surrounding cast wasn't much to work with. Football is a team game and one guy can't do it all, no matter how good he is. His numbers are impressive, improving each year and his coaching was top-notch. He's NFL-ready, good size too. Played for a big-time school against some good opponents. Also, check the numbers. ND went 6-6 but each loss was by 7 points or less. They were always in it. He can't do it by himself.
  13. He's got a point. If he got to play his entire career with a guy like Manning or Brady he would've put Rice-esque kind of numbers. But it's not an excuse, not many great players are fortunate to be paired up with another great player.
  14. Yep. McClain does look good and SEC defenses are great, but he also benefitted tremendously from playing behind Cody. Clausen put up great numbers this year, playing in a pro-style offense under a guy who worked with and helped develop Tom Brady for many years.
  15. This thread assumes. Neither of those two assumptions are based on truth or fact. It's just opinion. In essence, one would rather have an All Pro, however there's no denying that QB is FAR more important and valuable a position than MLB.
  16. PTI ran a segment on this. Short version: "It's stupid."
  17. Get well soon.
  18. McNabb is a franchise QB and we'd be lucky to get him here. He's a phenominal football player and an incredible passer. We can only hope for a QB like him. He's rumored to be going for a 2nd. I'd easily give a 2nd and a 5th. He's got good years left in him and he'd help us tremendously.
  19. I tailgate. There's a lot of people who come just to tailgate and either listen to the game or watch it elsewhere. I'm guess-timating here but I'd guess anywhere from 50,000 and up tailgate.
  20. The hiring of Kansas City staff does not exactly instill confidence in me for this team going forward.
  21. Orton or Campbell could be serviceable starters while the QB we (hopefully) draft sits and learns.
