  1. PFT has it too: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ngton-redskins/
  2. I like the way he talked in the interview. Good answers to questions. I think this team is going to surprise people by being quite competitive in games this year and playing hard.
  3. The OP makes some good points. But it can easily be argued that the Bills have had plenty of excellent options when it came time to make there selection. In the past five years, here are guys who would've filled a need that the Bills actually passed on with their first pick: 2009: Oher, Orakpo 2008: Dominique Rogers-Cromartie 2007: John Beason 2006: Haloti Ngata 2005: Tommie Harris, Vince Wilfork The draft is a risky crapshoot at best. Every team experiences some bad luck when drafting.
  4. I think they draft Berry. Clausen is a possibility if he's there but I doubt it. Spiller is also a possibility.
  5. The Hotel is old and done.
  6. And no, words don't change that. But when he got hired I remember him saying that he knows that it takes wins to show people he's serious and what he's capable of. He had the right attitude and said he knows it'll take wins to convince people.
  7. I think it's a terrible idea. We have so many needs, we can't afford to give up the extra picks it takes to move up. We just can't.
  8. He's our coach, we have to accept that. And we love our Bills so we have to give him a chance. People are getting on board because we love Buffalo Bills football. Also, like many others 'round here, I loved his no b.s. attitude about OTAs. He threw out the TVs and said this is a place to work. Sounds like a coach who is serious about winning. He knows we've been bad for a long time and is trying to change the culture of losing. If this is how he runs OTAs, I can't wait to see how he runs Training Camp. This is a young team, a rebuilding team. But we're off to a good start IMO. Let's give Coach Gailey the benefit of the doubt and see what he can do.
  9. I agree that attitude is important. But there's an unfortunate culture of losing here that has proven tough to break. And the Jets went to the AFC championship because they had the number one run game and number one defense. Also, any coaching staff is better than Jauron's.
  10. I don't think he fits anywhere in our D. He's a Cover 2 DE.
  11. It doesn't matter to me. Either way, these games are painful to watch. Preseason sucks.
  12. Lol. It's a depth move that was necessary. Who knows, maybe he'll push Hardy and Johnson just enough to make them better.
  13. Child please!
  14. Who has the time to go to class, practice with your college team to be great and practice pro-style plays? It would throw off your college play and is a horrible idea. Tebow was a winner in college and enjoyed huge success. Unfortunately Urban Meyer's system doesn't groom NFL-ready QBs. But it does produce BCS championships, which is all that matters to him and Florida. Tebow's playing style and throwing mechanics don't translate well to NFL play. So he has no choice but to change his throwing motion and practice pro-style offensive plays/formations if he wants to be drafted as a QB and play as a QB and enjoy success as a QB.
  15. I read this earlier today and laughed. Finally someone more official tells it like it is. It's hilarious. McShay has no football knowledge whatsoever and is quite literally a talking head who spews b.s. all over the internet.
  16. Bunch of panzies. Build a dome if you don't like it. Otherwise STFU.
  17. Walker hasn't given a damn about football since 2006. I don't know what it was but my guess is Darrent Williams' tragic and unfortunate death really f**ked him up. He's 31 and done. But probably a better pick up than Chad Jackson.
  18. How many pages did you have to scroll through to resurrect this thread? Five, six? Ten? Lol.
  19. Decent low-cost pick up that could show something in camp or just end up fodder. If it works out, great. If not, who cares?
  20. Don't be silly. We have too many needs to sacrifice the picks it would take to move that high. Trade up? Bad idea.
  21. Good point. Suddenly Cornell Green would become the key to the offence. QB blindside protection is a premium. I suppose if Nix intends to land Tebow he may opt to ignore LT with his 1st pick. This is going to be one of the more interesting and crucial drafts in recent Bills history IMO.
  22. Interesting. Thanks for posting that info. I've got a measly four years sinority and want to upgrade too. I'm hoping for on the 50 in the first few rows of the upper bowl or between the 20s in the lower bowl.
  23. No. I want a LT in the 1st and a NT in the 2nd. QB in the 3rd. Snead or Skelton maybe.
