  1. How is there a thread on Omon?
  2. They did draft Rivers. It was a shrewd move that landed them an additional draft pick which turned out to be Merriman. They wanted Rivers all along.
  3. Hope springs eternal. That's been our mantra for 10 years now, right? I'm optimistic though. They key is how well we can draft the next three years. We HAVE to get a franchise QB in place soon.
  4. Oh don't start with the sarcasm b.s. Bulaga projects as an LT. He's been in mocks as high as #5 to KC. He's a nasty, hard-nosed football player that plays with a mean streak. He's be a steal at #9.
  5. Bulaga is a good pick. Safe, sound and fills a huge need.
  6. Campbell is talented. He's played for too many coaches with poor O-Lines and poor weapons and still puts up good numbers. And he can be had for a 4th apparently. You don't know what you're talking about.
  7. UPDATE: Looks like the remainder is very affordable: 3 years, $16 million, $9 million guaranteed. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...very-tradeable/ With the Redskins wanting to trade him and plenty of teams interested, he could be had for a reasonable price. Depending on who, if anyone, ultimately gets him, it could shake up the draft. Especially if Detroit gets him. Suh and McCoy could lose some money.
  8. The language of these contracts and manuvering of $ and frontloading/backloading is outrageous. These things are manipulated. Sometimes to the benefit of the team, sometimes the player.
  9. 20 sacks/year if he was an end in the 4-3. But with his size he may have been moved inside on occasion. It's a moot point because he already is the greatest DE/sack artist of all time.
  10. Not 100% sure on that. I know there's guaranteed parts and bonuses, etc. It's a big contract to pick up. But I'm sure the uncapped year will have some sort of affect on what the costs of releaseing him/trading him would be. Potential suitors may also require Washington to pick up parts of the contract too. Regardless, there's a lot of money at stake here, lol.
  11. 7 years, $100 million.
  12. Haynesworth's pay day was astronomical so I'd have to say yes. But still, Peppers could have something to say about that. Time will tell! Lol.
  13. Jason Campbell is a good football player. I would be quite happy if we landed him. A 4th is a fair price.
  14. We don't need two underachievers named Whitner. One's enough.
  15. To be quite honest I didn't think this was a good article. I love Buffalo Rumblings and frequent their site a lot. But IMO the writer makes a very weak case against trading for Campbell. He has only one argument, poor winning percentage, and then he goes on to explain the reasons why it isn't even Campbell's fault! Campbell for a 4th is a good price IMO. I'd offer a 5th but I'd be on board with shipping a 4th for him to come in a compete for the starting job. And I think he'd win it quite easily. Personally, I've always liked Jason Campbell and thought he was quite talented. He had the unfortunate situation of having to deal with the constant shuffle of coaches and played behind a so-so line with average weapons at his disposal. I think if he's properly motivated he would do extremely well here in Buffalo, or anywhere for that matter. A fresh start would be great for him and I would be happy if we landed him.
  16. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...ues-to-heat-up/ I'll start off by saying this is one player I would NOT trade for. Tremendously talented player who played hard and was dominant when he had a contract to play for. Got (over)paid by dumb-dumb Snyder and copped an even bigger ego/attitude. The face-stomper rubbed Shanny the wrong way and now they're gonna unload this guy on a team dumb enough the trade for him. I find this interesting though because there's no way he takes a pay cut and if the Skins really don't want him, you have to wonder if they'll just cut their losses and release him because I find it hard to imagine any team wanting to pick up that contract. Especially for a guy who is oft-injured and lazy now that he's paid.
  17. Genius idea! You should be able to purchase the alphabet and numbers 0 through 9 and affix them as you see fit! Of course jersey sales would go down so this would never happen but I like your where you're head is at PTR.
  18. I've got Edwards and Lynch jerseys! What the hell am I supposed to do now? My Edwards jersey is a home throwback and I love that colour scheme. I need a new jersey, I'm gonna wait to see who we pick in the draft but I think I'm gonna be jumping on the Byrd bandwagon. I haven't had a defensive player jersey since TKO.
  19. Lynch may want out of Buffalo!? What!? When!? Link please. Lol.
  20. You gotta hand it to him, he played hard ball and got what he wanted. But naturally I feel hard done by because he shunned my beloved Bills. It's done, time to move on.
  21. I'd give up a 5th for Campbell. Then have an open competition for starting QB in camp.
  22. Can't wait to see what Shanny and McNabb will do.
  23. Clausen to Oakland? I don't see that at all.
  24. Very surprising they would trade him intra-division, let alone intra-conference. Must be the best deal they got so they took it. Now they get to see McNabb in Philly twice a year. Those will be some great divisional games to watch.
  25. This just shook up the draft big time. The Redskins are all but a lock to draft an LT now. Okung and Bulaga will both be gone by 9. Clausen may fall to us.
