Who thought Clausen would fall that far? The draft is full of unknowns. Nothing is certain and it's tough to predict who'll where and when. It's not a reach when you draft a player who fills a huge need for you and is exactly the player you want with all the qualities and abilities you desire.

I already liked the guy but this makes it even harder to not love him. Drafted on Thursday, in Buffalo on Friday taking in a Sabres game. Football and hockey are Buffalo's two biggest passions and he's repping them both! Welcome to Buffalo CJ, you'll love it.

Finally. A QB needy team with no 1st rounder lands their guy by just sitting and waiting. A "top ten" guy goes 48th. He may very well start for this team this year too.

Should have taken Clausen. But this fills a need. A big need.

Best player available, top RB, ACC player of the year, 1st team all american, averaged 100 yards and 1 TD per game, true playmaker, fast, running threat, receiving threat, return threat, homerun threat, can contribute right away, high character guy, smart. This is a good feeling. Of course he won't play every down, it's a two back league. He'll easily touch the ball 15 times a game. And do a lot with those touches.

It's hilariously official. Clausen fell to the 2nd round. I'd say that's the shocker of round 1. Here's hoping it humbles him and puts a chip on his shoulder, making him wanna work hard and anihilate defenses.
