  1. Uh oh. I don't like the sound of that. Stadium traffic is bad enough. What are they doing? New pavement or sewage stuff? Do you know?
  2. This contest is over. The best pizza is the pizza you get from that stand on the side of the road near the stadium, accross from Mulligan's (which has amazing wings BTW), that sets up after each home game. Can't remember what it's called, but I think the sign said New York Style Pizza. $3 a slice, amazing and delicious. Probably the best pizza I have ever had, I kid you not, and pizza is my favourite food.
  3. What an unbelievable coincidence. I had dinner last night too.
  4. Link? It was my understanding that Favre is still property of the Packers and therefore not allowed to talk with other teams.
  5. That's about where we belong until we prove otherwise. If Stroud is healthy, McCargo emerges, and Schobel hits double digits again we would be top-ten. Maybe even top-five.
  6. I've always wanted to go to an away game, all decked out in my Bills gear, yelling, just to see how badly I get heckled... or killed.
  7. I always park in someone's driveway nearby for like $15. I don't mind walking all of an extra two minutes, plus it's way easier to get out when you're going home.
  8. I don't live in Buffalo. Hell I live in another country... Canada... About 20 minutes from the WNY border. But I consider myself an honorary resident of Buffalo seeing how I go over all the time, especially for Bills games, since I hold seasons tickets. Go Bills. Go Buffalo Bills.
  9. I haven't amassed a collection of anything really. All I can say is I have each ticket from every home game last year, as it was my first year as a season ticket holder.

  11. Link didn't work for me.
  12. LOL. Kick him while he's down why don't ya.
  13. Good read. Thanks for that. This article is yet another that reinforces the main cogs to our success: 1. Edwards must get better. 2. Lynch is a beast. 3. Evans is an elite talent. 4. Hardy is a great compliment. 5. Peters and the rest of the line are great. 6. Stroud is the key to our D. 7. The rest of the D line will be better. 8. Posluszny will be good. 9. Whitner is gonna breakout and be a pro bowler.
  14. Welcome. But we're going 10 and 6, maybe 11 and 5 if healthy.
  15. I'm sure there has been threads like this, but I haven't seen any, so here goes my story! It was about 1994, I was 8 or 9 years old and was at a Buffalo Sabres game (back when they played at The Aud). My dad had seasons tickets to the Sabres and we were in the lounge/bar area during an intermission. The place had cleared out as the period was about to start back up. Only two tables remained; my dad and I at one, and a couple of guys at another. As my dad was finishing up his beer the waitress came over and said that the guys at the other table were Buffalo Bills players, one of which was Jim Kelly. She gave me a piece of paper and a marker and encouraged me to go over and get his autograph. I looked at my dad and said I should do it to, so I did. Terrified, I slowly made my way over and all five of the people at the table were looking at me. I only remember seeing Jim Kelly and what one other guy looked like. He was huge, 300lbs bald head and a goatee, really mean looking. As I got closer he actually smiled, somewhat calming me. Barely able to speak, I quietly asked, "Mr. Kelly, can I please have your autograph?" He smiled and said, "of course." He even made it out to me. I didn't really "know" who he was back then. I was only interested in hockey in those days. But when I got a little older its significance increased, when I realized he was a legend that I met in his prime when he was near God-like in stature. I still think it was pretty cool. Anybody else got any stories?
  16. I just read that article from NBC Sports about us on the TBD page, where the writer thinks we're a year away from being an elite team, but could squeak into the playoffs this year too. And also, I was checking the Training Camp dates on nfl.com, when I noticed the nfl network vid about surprise teams. Adam Schefter thinks we are the surprise/sleeper team in the AFC for this upcoming season. He loves the Jauron as a fundamentals coach, loves the Stroud addition, loves Lynch and thinks he'll be even better, and thinks our ST will be spectacular as usual. Sounds good to me! Thought I'd share. Go Bills. http://www.nfl.com/trainingcamp/story?id=0...mp;confirm=true
  17. You're absolutely right. We've had fantastic success drafting CBs. But once their rookie contracts were up and they emerged as bona fide stars, they bolted for big money bad teams. We lost Winfield and Clements. Could you imagine if we still had these guys? My God, we would be a passing offences worst nightmare. It certainly is frustrating watching homegrown talent leave without getting anything in return.
  18. One can only hope this stat rings true for us. By the early look of it, it just might. Needless to say, I loved those two selections. I actually wanted Hardy in round one!!!
  19. I wasn't a fan of Mularkey. But I loved his D-Coordinator, Jerry Gray. He probably should of been given our head coaching job. Also, while that one Steelers import was bad, how's about we import another. Bill Cowher anyone...?
  20. No one's talked in public about it. I hate being in the dark. I too am itching for any updates on both Peters' and Evans' contract situations.
  21. Sad to hear this. The guy was talented and played really hard and really well in Buffalo. But wow, he is just so dumb it's insane. He's got nine kids with nine different chicks and can't stop hitting the reefer. He got a second chance in Denver, signing a huge contract with like 20 mil guaranteed. Playing in that run scheme, people were saying he was a lock for 1,400 yards a season. He f***ed that up real bad. Only lasted on season. What a disgrace.
