  1. It's so annoying that teams take so long to get their guys signed. I mean they have almost three months after they draft them to sign them.
  2. I completely disagree. His ego may be hard to manage but Brees loves his TEs and that offence is huge on passing anyway. The Saints got the best of that deal IMO. Shockey is a proven player, draft picks are not. Besides, all Shockey wants is to make catches. He just wants to be involved in the passing game more. The Saints will accomodate this.
  3. His durability doesn't concern me. I look at how much better our OL was last year, and I think it will be even better this year, so his protection will be good. Plus the addition of a FB can only help. He has more targets to throw to with Hardy's addition and Lynch's expected increased involvement in the passing game. Also, his increased preparation and familiarity should contribute to him being more effective and comfortable as well.
  4. I find this hard to believe. It's hard for me to imagine anyone in GB not loving Favre and wanting him back. Truth is, I don't even like GB, but I love Brett Favre. I'm one of those people who falls into the catergory of people who think Favre can do whatever he wants, no questions asked. I honestly think he's earned that right.
  5. Everyone knows pre-season is bs. You can't give away your pre-season tix, and yet they expect people to shell out tons of cash for a pre-season game? Yeah it's the Steelers, but your only gonna see Big Ben for one series, and that's all.
  6. I don't care where he goes. He had his chance here, now it's time to part ways.
  7. That's awesome. Seeing how he caught the game winner for the champs, I think he's entitled to be that cocky.
  8. Losman will simply serve as Edwards' backup, that's all. He is somewhat capable if Edwards goes down.
  9. I was happy when I heard he got dealt. Couldn't be a better scenario, not only is he out of our division, he is out of our conference too. Great deal for Miami and Washington. Miami gets a good draft slot, Washington gets a good player.
  10. Thanks for the article. It's always good to read about a guy's past and how he came to be where he is today. I have faith that he will make the most of his opportunity as OC and do some good things this year.
  11. If you add the choice, "none of the above" I might vote.
  12. If that's the case, then let the Bill Cowher era begin!
  13. I know they have to prove it on the field first, but he could be right. Don't get me wrong here, but we could do some real damae on O this year. Assuming Edwards progresses, Lynch continues being a beast, and Hardy using his size, we could be a strong offence. Evans is an elite talent at WR and if Hardy proves good and his size attracts attention, Evans will have a monster year. An improved D will allow the O more chances to score and our top notch ST will give good field position. His prediction is a valid one if you ask me.
  14. I read this a few days ago and I love hearing about how we're a chic pick to make the playoffs. It never gets old. But I wish they'd all be quiet so nobody would see us coming. Go Bills.
  15. I wouldn't trade any of them. Why? Evans is a proven player with insane talent, you keep those guys. The rest of the guys couldn't fetch anything of real value in terms of making it worth trading them.
  16. Yeah, me too. Lets hope he can pick up where he left off.
  17. I was gald to hear the sales are still going strong. This just proves the Toronto thing really is marketing genius. That coupled with a young and promising team. Go Bills.
  18. Of all the young players and developing, who are you keeping the closest eye on heading into camp and the regular season. Not necessarily who's development is more important or obvious/likely, but just who you are really keen on watching. Me personally I am really curious to see how quick Hardy picks up the offence and how much he'll contribute. I am very interested in watching his development and seeing how he uses his huge height and speed on the NFL gridiron. I think his development is crucial to Evans' production, Edwards' development, and the team's red zone cababilities. I'm not gonna lie, I have high expectations for him, which may be unfair, since WRs don't usually shine right away. But WRs usually aren't 6'5" either.
  19. I agree 100%. He keeps getting better and I love his confidence and attitude. He's a team guy and dedicated to his craft. I think he'll get the pro bowl nod too, but Bob Sanders stands in his way.
  20. When I create the virtual version of myself in Madden, yes.
  21. Of course there is. You always want all your guys in camp on time. It's paramount to your team's development and success. I wish the NFL would do like the NBA and have set contracts for each draft slot. No arguing, no debating, no negotiating. Players know what they're getting and just sign and get into training camp. That's it.
