  1. A buddy of mine who follows the Bills religiously like I do told me today that Dockery had been texting Peters. This thread make me think it's true. I think Peters will show up once camp closes. I'm very curious to see what kind of shape he is in and how healthy he is. I also don't think he'll get an extension. I think the Bills will do one next offseason.
  2. The Un-friendly Giant. Just kidding. Hardy rocks. Go Bills.
  3. Ouch. That really sucks. Although you're probably a moron if you leave that stuff in your car. Especially seasons tix.
  4. Cool and welcome. Trust me, if you keep writing about the Bills, we'll keep reading. I can't get enough.
  5. The place that burnt down was called Luanne's Old Barn. But it wasn't a bar, they didn't serve beer there. I went there a few times though. Good food. It was already up in smoke when I got there, it was very close to the ESPN tent. Crazy.
  6. I hope the Bills stand their ground, and refuse to negotiate until he shows up. We can't set any precedents. Personally I find it hard to believe he will sit the season. I think he'll show once camp closes. He's being a selfish arse. No one comes before the team.
  7. I thought it was pretty cool how they said that there may end up being a waiting list for season's tickets next year. "We expect to begin a wait list for 2009 once the season begins." I'm glad to see people are coming out to support the team. Go Bills.
  8. Not the most original name, but it's relevant given the bar's location.
  9. I just wish he had more on the Peters saga. I NEED ANSWERS!
  10. Probably one of the funnier Q and As from the link: Stephen from Parts Unknown writes: You're a joke. Tim Graham: I'm starting to detect a trend here.
  11. A bunch of questions answered. I enjoyed reading it. Good to see we're getting some love. Linky: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-2-84/...st-mailbag.html
  12. I've gone to Savannah's a couple times after games and I'm pretty sure I know exactly who you're talkin about, lol, which is kinda creepy too. Brunette right?
  13. There's been a lot to be excited about, if you ask me. I really like Hardy. I think he is gonna be a difference maker for us the moment he steps on the field. He's just too big for any team to ignore. He made a great TD catch vs. the Skins. And while he didn't record any stats against Pitt, he did a great job as a "decoy." I think Lee is gonna really feed off of him, so will Royal and the TEs. While it's certain he will experience growing pains and make some mistakes, I think he's gonna be great from the get-go. Youboty first had and INT, then a sack. What!? Looks like he's making a case to stay on the team here. The CB competetion is hot. He's impressed me too. I don't know why, but I absolutely love watching great ST play. I always stand and watch closely on every ST play when I'm at the Ralph. And so, naturally I was really excited when McKelvin ran that one back. Even if he takes some time to develop as a CB, his ST contributions will be tremendous right away.
  14. Haha! I'm in 332 so I'll keep an eye out for ya! The only pre-game ritual I engage in is the consumption of wings and Blue at Milligan's. And I always rock a Bills jersey of course (Lynch). I also got this sweet Bills construction hat. It's red with blue and white shripe and the Bills logo on each side (looks like their helemt). It's real too with safety approval and all, so it could wind up saving my life, lol.
  15. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Savannah's is to the south and Milligan's is to the east, across the road from the Ralph. I go to Milligan's before every game. Always. They have the best wings.
  16. Aren't you the guy who wrote off the entire team just last week after the Skins game? Was it just that time of the month or do you just have a short memory and only judge the team on their most recent performance. You said you thought Jauron made bad calls and Edwards looked clueless. Now you're saying Jauron made good calls and Edwards looks like a HoF QB. WTF?
  17. Holy crap. Heh heh heh, m!@#$s. That's funny.
  18. When the Bills played Cincy (I think it was 2003) I was walking from my car up to the stadium when this big greyhound bus comes rolling past and suddenly out of the roof top emerges a piss drunk guy who yells "go Bengals!" Before he could even finish, my mouth reacted involuntarily and I pointed at him and yelled "you shut the f--- up." He then fell back down into the bus and that was the end of that. At the Cowboys game last year I kept yelling "Romo's a homo." a lot of people laughed at that one. Who/what I am at Bills games is not a reflection of who/what I am on all other days. When its game day, and the jersey goes on, and the hat goes on, and the beer and wings get in you, something happens, and I live and breathe Bills football.
  19. Is it bad that I found this quote hilarious? "Ben Roethlisberger: “We killed ourselves with penalties.” (Which isn’t nearly as fun as killing yourself while driving a motorcycle without a helmet.)"
  20. I heard that fans were buying tickets that had $500 face value only hours before the game for like $100. I know the game was new because it was in TO. But still, it is just preseason. Quite frankly I'm surprised people were willing to pay so much for them. The regular season game will be off the hook, though. It's funny how some of the seats to last nights game cost more than a set of seasons to the Ralph. Crazy. The $78 million is guaranteed baby .
  21. I can honestly say that I would contribute and be a part of the fan base buying the team. I do however believe that the NFL won't change its stance on that rule. I think a group involving Kelly and Thomas will buy the Bills and keep them there. Yes, Buffalo does have economic problems. But fan support does not. Long live the BUFFALO Bills.
  22. RIP, but Darrent Williams had his full name on the back of his jersey. I always thought it was cool. That is how I remember him.
  23. I hope you are being sarcastic.
  24. I live in Canada, 20 minutes from the Southern Ontario/Western New York border. I love going to Buffalo and think it's a great place. I go over all the time, not just for the Bills seasons tickets, but for shopping and stuff. I think it's great and hope the Bills stay in Orchard Park forever. Great times!
