  1. I wouldn't feel so bad. I live an hour away from TO, and trust me when I say that it is a very well known fact that Mayor David Miller is a moron.
  2. Ha! There are a lot of drunkards at the games. The NFL is supposed to be cracking down on this though, starting this year. We'll see. BTW, at the Lions game there was this guy so drunk sitting near me, he sat with his head in his lap for the whole second half. Didn't even move. He puked all over his feet. It was pretty bad.
  3. I think the Bills will alternate keeping Royal and Barnes back for blocking to help protect Edwards. Kerney is a concern for sure, but it is more important to protect Trent's blind side I think.
  4. I honestly think it depends on whether Trent and the O can establish a decent pass attack. If they can, the Hawks have to play honest on D and Marshawn will have a big day at the office. If not, he will have to earn every yard. Seattle has a good D, but Lynch is a beast and should be better than last year. I'm think he hits the centruy mark on about 25 carries.
  5. The only time I liked that dance was when Chad Johnson imitated it. That was hilarious. Oh excuse me, I meant Chad Ocho Cinco.
  6. Bills 17 Seahawks 14 TD's: Lynch Rush TD McKelvin Return TD Hasselbeck 2 Pass TD
  7. I find him so obnoxious. I can't help it.
  8. Well, do you? I do. lol. That, plus he may be a murderer.
  9. What we have here is a failure to communicate. Misunderstanding perhaps. Whatever. Time to move on.
  10. Are you kidding? He said the best ever. What more is there to understand?
  11. Moss the best WR ever? Has Mr. Graham ever heard of Jerry Rice?
  12. With the season already underway, SI's Don Banks is making his predictions, and almost all of them involve someone getting hurt. Seems weird to me. Fortunately no Bills on here (knocks on wood). Here are the 2008 Injury Predictions: 1. Merriman's knee implodes and he bows out by mid-season. 2. Packers QB Rogers will get KO'd and give way to Brohm and Flynn. 3. Brady's bum foot will cause him to miss two or three games and Cassel will lose all three games. 4. Browns QB Anderson will get hurt in the second half of the season, giving way to Quinn. Link: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...ewsletter090508
  13. It's funny, rain Saturday and Monday, but not Sunday. I love it, partly sunny, some clouds. Sounds like a great day for football. I'll be there! Seattle's goin down.
  14. If he's in shape and healthy he will play probably in Week 3. The two week exemption might prevent him from playing Week 2. Not sure on this though. Peters is too good, athletic and talented to not pick up the offence right away. The important thing is he's back, and hopefully out to prove his worth. Besides, half of Peters is an upgrade over Chambers (no offence, Chambers).
  15. Thing is, Jackson was entering the final year of his deal. He had a legitimate beef. Nobody wants to enter a season without an extension. He wanted financial comfort and security. His holdout was justified. Peters' was not. Peters is definately reporting to avoid the game check fine. He will get the two week exemption, so he can still make his 3.25 mil salary.
  16. True that. I think him holding out through the OTAs sent the message. He should of shown up to camp, looked Brandon in the eye and said, "Show me the money." Then work his tail off all camp, showing he's a beast.
  17. I'm not a betting man, but the Bills covered in every home game last year. The Hawks aren't so good on the road, especially when travelling to the east coast. Plus they're pretty banged up. Their D will be tough, and I imagine if our Tackled can't hold up then Turk will keep Royal as a blocker all day. I expect the Bills to establish the pass game, keeping Seattle honest and allowing Lynch to run. ST should provide us with good field position. I'm thinking a Bills win for sure. Probably something in the neighbourhood of 17-14. It should be close.
  18. Yeah. He let it drag on. I'm glad the Bills held their ground. Silent treating the team while under contract for three more years is bad. The Bills aren't stupid, they would/will pay him. I'm gonna boo him if he's there Sunday. If not, I'll boo him Week 3 when the Raiders come to town.
  19. Don't be a douche bag. I just got home from work and this is my reaction to having just found out he's reporting. Ok? We're on the same side here.
  20. I think Favre will be average at best. He was great last year, but horrendous in '06. Which Favre will show up? His head isn't totally in it either. He should be a Packer only. New team, new system, new offence. Can you teach an old dog new tricks?
  21. While far from over, the knucklehead is finally gonna report. 'Bout time too. I wonder what kind of shape he's in. I'll follow this one closely. Hopefully he can pick up the new system and contribute come Week 2. He's not gonna play Sunday, but will report Saturday. Looks like the Bills won this battle, but the war still has some life left yet. But I must say, I'm pretty happy he's reporting. But doesn't it seem like he went too far? Anyways, as always: Go Bills!
  22. Good list. Seems quite fair/accurate too. Love this quote from the Oakland blurb: "It's hard to put your finger on whether Raiders fans love their team or if they just have a hatred for yours."
  23. Carrucci is top-notch. His post-game show on 97 Rock is amazing. I always listen to it on the way home. He is so on-point.
  24. That's right. Nobody wants to be injured. You can't pick and choose who and when a guy goes down. Crowell did what was best for himself, and that's opt for surgery to fix the problem and give himself and chance to prolong his career. The timing does suck though. We were all expecting a big year outta him.
