  1. I know Thurman Thomas still has a home in Buffalo.
  2. We certainly have Vic to thank for that. Love his post-game show on 97 Rock.
  3. And there's certainly a difference between respecting and honoring your mom, and using her has media fodder.
  4. Grown men and millionaires don't need their moms to go to bat for them when they're upset.
  5. He is reportedley fat and lazy? lol.
  6. What is it with these guys? As soon as they start acting like babies, their moms publicly come to their rescue. First, Felicia Young spoke up for her son Vince, the Titans QB. Now comes Christine Johnson, mother of Larry, the Chiefs RB, courtesy of KansasCity.com: "He's not mad at the world. People have thought that and I just think he's misunderstood. He's not mad. He's just guarded sometimes and he also has a great passion for football. That passion can be misunderstood. He just has a different personality." http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/foot...cker/index.html
  7. DJ said he'd make the decision on Saturday I think. My guess is Peters will be playing LT on Sunday. The fact that he is taking the reps at that spot answers it for me.
  8. No way! Hearing good things about our team never gets old. Besides, 1999 was the last team we saw the playoffs, how can we be jinxed?
  9. Why are you amazed? It's a well known fact that 95% of all humans are retarded.
  10. I watched AFC Playbook on NFLN last night. They both picked us to win Sunday. That felt good. They also liked how Trent was developing as a passer so far. All good stuff.
  11. Well, he was in Hasselbeck's face all day. Well deserved.
  12. YEAHHH! I'm glad I'm not the only one who got it. Chappelle's Show.
  13. I think this game is on the O. Our ST will give us great field position all day, while our D will keep it close, giving the O plenty of chance to score. Trent needs to deliver.
  14. I felt Crowell was poised for a big year. We'll miss him, but we can recover I think. A young Puz in the middle and a vet in Mitchell outside, I think we could manage a rookie on the other side. But who knows what free agency will bring.
  15. No one wished it to happen. But once it did, we realized what it meant for the division, for our team. Besides, I don't know about you, but I still remember watching Brady and the Pats go for it on fourth down, despite being up by 40 on us. Not cool.
  16. Awesome! Thanks for that. Marshawn looks like lil Jon. WHAT!?
  17. He has two years left (including this year). The end of his deal brings him to the age of 32. If we extend him, I only want two more years put on his deal.
  18. Yeah, those licensing fees for seats is so incredible. What a ridiculous cash grab. What was the Giants one again? Like $1000 one-time fee? Insane.
  19. These rankings are based almost entirely on the teams' stadiums. So the reason we are near the bottom is because we have an aging stadium.
  20. It's time to move on. He's with us now. Nobody's denying it was bone-headed, but he's back and practicing and confident. That's a good thing.
  21. Yeah. He showed real growth and promise with Norv Turner as his OC, but then he took the Head Coaching job in SD, and no one can blame him, but it really cost Smith.
  22. Also, in Texas' defence, they have sent some good, non-messed-up ones too: Derrick Dockery (our boy), Michael Griffin (emerging), Derrick Johnson(good, but hasn't lived up to the hype), Nathan Vasher (good CB, great athlete), Roy Williams (great WR), Selvin Young (emerging runner in that Broncos scheme).
  23. Whether or not he deserved it, Davis made the Pro Bowl and is a key piece on that Dallas line. Also, I think Benson is just bad.
