  1. There's already two threads on the front page on the waiver wire. Please consider checking before posting and cluttering the board. Thanks. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/118566-waiver-wire/ http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/118624-to-all-of-you-waiver-shoppers/
  2. It's like you said, the G/C/G spots are almost inter-changeable. Meredith would play G in some injury scenarios. The Bills have had no one behind their starters all offseason. You think they're suddenly gonna bring in some help with one week to go? No way does that guy learn the system and blocking scheme that fast. All I'm saying is, with the season opener one week away I don't think the Bills will bring in any O-Lineman. I think they'd rather have extra LBs and DBs for ST purposes. And should there be an OL injury, then they'll address it right then and there and bring in someone off the street. This is how Buddy appears to be managing his roster. And it makes sense. If there was a decent O-Lineman available you have to believe that Buddy, as a football guy, would've already brought him in.
  3. Huh? Can you explain that please.
  4. OMG. He's actually MORE annoying than Favre now. I can't take it.
  5. This season could go either way, IMO. If we stay relatively healthy, if Trent plays well and all 16, if the OL can provide decent protection, if the D can generate a pass rush and stop the run. Then we could win 10 games. But we could also easily go 4-12. I'm optimistic but I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.
  6. The truth of the matter is, there simply isn't any O-Lineman out there that are worth signing. This is year one of a rebuilding process. I'm confident we'll see a focus on Tackles come next year's FA period and draft.
  7. Didn't we have an undrafted free agent who became a pro bowl left tackle and then traded him away?
  8. He's better than Foschi.
  9. It's gotta be for ST filler. But I don't think the Bills are done tweaking their roster just yet.
  10. He was okay. When he wasn't hurt. He had potential but couldn't stay on the field long enough to realize it. He'd be an upgrade over Green though...
  11. Howard is the back up who would fill in either G spot. Wood can fill in at C. Meredith and Wang can kick inside and play G too. It's T where we need help. The interior OL is much more flexible to play, it's an easier position to play and it's less important than the T spots. There is no concern on the interior. We have two future Pro Bowl Gs and a decent/reliable C. Our Ts are garbage.
  12. Why is it that people on here think we must sign every FA guard available? WE NEED TACKLES, NOT GUARDS... FOR **** SAKES! I'm sorry for the blow up, but I'm getting sick of these threads. We need tackles. We don't need guards. At all. Our interior OL is in good shape.
  13. That's very good news. We need him to be healthy and on the field.
  14. Foschi really sucks. No idea why we're keeping him.
  15. Surprised they kept Jones over Jackson and Hardy. Surprised they kept McCargo and Ellison. Surprised they kept Harris and Harris over Lankster.
  16. You not notice the same thread with the same title as yours already on the board?
  17. Leinart sucks. I could see a reunion with Pete Carroll.
  18. General consensus from Bills sites was that putting Brown on the practice squad was risky and that he was likely to make the team as the 3rd stringer. They all figured Brohm was the odd man out. Makes sense though if they plan on keeping both Brohm and Brown on the practice squad. That way they can keep an extra WR, DB or LB, where depth is more of an issue than at QB. Plus that's one more guy who can contribute on special teams.
  19. Pretty soon it's gonna be Maybin. Right now it's Hardy. He was a 6'5" guy who caught a lot of TDs at Indiana. He was supposed to be in the mold of pre-gunshot Plaxico Burress. I was so excited for his potential. When he caught that game winning TD in the back of the endzone to beat Jacksonville, I thought a star was born. Boy was I wrong.
  20. The 6'5" guy from Florida has a chance to be the kind of WR the 6'5" guy from Indiana was supposed to be.
  21. Heck I just might settle for 2-14 so long as we beat Miami twice.
  22. What's the best thing to order? I love pulled pork.
  23. Crap! I forgot about ST. Mainstays Moorman and Lindell are consistent and have mastered the Buffalp weather. Moorman continues to be one of the league's best punters. Kickoff and punt coverage has been suspect. They have given up yards on many returns and opposing teams often seem one block away from taking one to the house. DeHaven needs to reign in his guys and start covering kicks better. I think once we trim down to 53 the coverage teams will be set and will improve. I'm worried but it's not time to hit the panic button just yet. I don't expect our ST to be as strong as in years past under April, but that's okay because teams with the best ST have often been among the league's worst in the win column (see Buffalo and Cleveland). We have a few good kick/punt returners on the roster too.
  24. Sounds good. I'm only staying the one night. I feel condifent about going now. Thanks.
