  1. The league's worst offense destroyed the NFC's best defence. It doesn't even make sense.
  2. I think it'll be too loud in there for the Chargers to handle. After two road games and a bye, we're ready to see our team at home again. And at 4 and 1 it'll be pandemonium.
  3. "Any given Sunday" rang true here, huh? This crazy league. The Giants were supposed to spank the Browns, instead the opposite happened. Wow.
  4. LOL. I've said all along that while I'd love to have him, trades just don't happen all that much. I think the Chiefs have gotten legitimate offers, ie: the reported 3rd from Buffalo, but I don't think the Chiefs will let him go for that. They may hold firm at the 1st rounder. 4pm Tuesday couldn't come any sooner. We'll know once and for all and can just move on.
  5. At 240lbs he better be!
  6. Beck was never really given a fair shot. He was 26 when drafted, but seemed to have the size and ability. He played starter for a few games last year on a really bad team with problems everywhere. And to the guy who is trying to compare Beck to Losman, I just have one questions: are you retarded?
  7. It's Peters' fault. At the end of the day he's his own man. Agents work for you, not the other way around. Peters screwed up. Big time.
  8. So, in other words, there's nothing new to report. Thanks.
  9. These trade/Tony Gonzalez articles are starting to get annoying to me. But it is bye week for us and since we're named in some of the trade talks... It's known Toney wants out and that teams are interested. It's very rare for any players to get moved mid-season. While I would love to have Tony, not for the reported 1st round pick the Chiefs want. I would not go higher than a 3rd. I don't expect anybody to get moved, so a significant trade would come as a big surprise to me.
  10. Thanks for that. All that is true and pretty much sums up how I feel about him. 1. I was happy when we got him, especially that low. 2. I was surprised at how many people had his jersey before he even played a snap. 3. Yeah, he's just a football player. Classic and original. Just a big, physical, hard worker, who's in on every stop. Love the guy.
  11. Hell yeah! Ray Lewis is known to do this. He was calling up Deion Sanders and convinced him to unretire. He also phoned up Terrell Owens and got him over to Blatimore, albeit for only a day. I say Trent gets on the horn and tells Tony he needs a TE to pass to, someone to catch all his passes. Butter him up!
  12. It wasn't anyone's finer moment. I was there at the game. It was so loud, that play silenced the crowd. Thank god we redeemed ourselves.
  13. I like this quote better: "Hello, Ralph? Answer the door. Opportunity hasn’t knocked this hard since Indianapolis was shopping Cornelius Bennett."
  14. Hey now. You can't put that TD on just Ko. That pass was a slant, caught right in front of a linebacker, the receiver then split our two safeties. That gaff was team screw-up.
  15. The only "news" on McGee is that there is no word on whether he'll practice this week.
  16. Ko has been good, but not great. I'm in the group that expected a lot out of him, given his SEC pedigree. But he's still settling into the starting role. I'm willing to be patient with him. More importantly, he hasn't made any glaring mistakes.
  17. Good stuff. NO ONE comes into our house and pushes us around.
  18. Yeah, you're right, it is vague. It is like asuming something, as if the refs can read a guy's mind and know what he intended to do with the ball.
  19. I wasn't a QB, but when I played football in high school I broke my right pinkie and kept playing all season. I also played on the basketball team with the injury too. What a wussy!
  20. Read this on the TBD homepage just now. Great news! It's what we hoped for.
  21. I'm not as down on Royal as others. Also, what I meant was that if we traded Jackson, then we have Omon backing up Lynch, which is not good IMO. Jackson is dynamic and sees a fair share of touches. So the drop off at the RB spot is far greater than the boost we get by bringing in Tony. Nothing against Tony, I just think we would suffer by not having a strong compliment to Lynch. I'm all for getting Tony, but not at the cost of Fred.
  22. The Bungals are 0 and 6 now. He probably should be fired. Which is a shame because he is a great coach. When his guys bought in, they made the playoffs. Then they all quit on him. The Bungals poor drafting of poor character guys hurt them, and coach Lewis, badly. He deserved better. He also should have put Ocho in his place early on. I have no doubt he'll get another shot somewhere else.
  23. Hey OJ, How's jail treatin ya? Are you anyone's B word yet, or is it the other way around?
