  1. Which leads me to my next point: Don't smoke crack.
  2. Huff was so good in college too. A big hit/big play machine. All over the field. Oakland should try and move him to Strong Safety and see what kind of results they get. Their season is a wash, might as well tinker. Besides, they might get lucky and nut-job Davis will be happier with him not riding the pine.
  3. And that's just it. His addition really would have put us over the top. Man. Our O would have been crazy good. He would have been a good veteran leader too. But if he didn't want us, then we don't want him.
  4. Mike Williams was a bust of colossal proportions, so don't get me wrong with what I say here. But Mike was a big and talented player. He was just incredibly lazy and lacked the motivation and drive to eat well and practice hard. In college he was a man among boys, getting by on shear size, strength and raw talent. That's enough in college, but the NFL is another story. He didn't want to put in the work and that's all there is to it.
  5. This is our STATEMENT game.
  6. Great article. Coming from Schefter, it is usually true. So then it looks like there was a deal in place and Tony crapped all over it. We need to thrash the Chiefs when we go to Arrowhead in a couple weeks.
  7. This read gives you the perspective. The kid just loves football.
  8. I'm glad he's making some progress. But this isn't the sort of thing you can rush back from. He needs to come back only when he's 100%.
  9. Hardcore! Surgery on his broken finger would end his season, so he gets it amputated so he can still play! Insane? Crazy? Dedicated? I dunno what to think. Link: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=76913
  10. Honestly, I'm glad we got him back. A 4th sucks for a 1st rounder. I wan't ready to give up on him yet.
  11. Forgot link. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3645893
  12. It is a rumour mill, but PFT is usually pretty good. But yeah, I'll wait for something more definitive before I discuss. I actually hope it's true because I wasn't ready to give up on McCargo and a 4th is poor compensation for a guy we invested a 6th in. He showed flashes, with some work and polish he can thrive. Besides, if the bad disc in his back thing is true, it could explain a lot.
  13. Read the whole thing. Spot on, good stuff. Thanks for posting. I think the key on offense will be long, sustained drives, that keep the Chargers offense off the field and allow us to put up points, eating the clock, and wearing out their defense. The key on defense will be getting up field and pressuring Rivers. We have to get to him, if the DEs can't do it then Perry needs to dial up some blitzes. I agree that ST could (and probably will) prove the differende in this one. And with Parrish back, I expect him to give us good field position all day, and possibly a TD return.
  14. Has it ever occurred to any of you that we have the best tailgating, so naturally we are gonna be a little drunk and misbehave. Drinking beer for hours usually leads to this. Sort of a double-edged sword. We love our team and party all day in the spirit of the game, rocking our Bills gear. I don't condone the bad behaviour, but we're just having fun. Game day is exciting as hell.
  15. Quote from article: "and a half-eaten Kit Kat."
  16. What!? The NBA is so boring. All you need to do is watch the last 4 minutes of the game and you got it. March Madness is great once the Sweet 16 starts. College ball is more competitive and team-oriented. Very enjoyable.
  17. Oakland has its QB? What!? Yeah, they have a ton of dough tied up in him, but he has looked terrible and is struggling mightily in the disaster soap opera that is Raider-Nation. He inches closer to bust status with each game. Two more years will tell for sure.
  18. I feel weird saying this because Jay Glazer is a tool, but I enjoyed that article. It is a business, but a man is only as good as his word. If Peterson told him he'll be traded for a 3rd, then he should have accepted one of the two offers of a 3rd he got. I think he owed it to a franchise guy like Tony to shoot him straight. Peterson stood firm on a 2nd, fine, whatever. But they got reasonable offers for a high-paid 32-year old TE. Peterson did Tony an injustice by not giving him the chance to play for a winner. Who knows what the offseason will bring, though. I was all for bringing in Tony, and according to Bills Daily, they were one of the two teams to offer a 3rd. However, I wasn't willing to go over a 3rd. Maybe the Bills could have offered a 3rd that could escalate into a 2nd if we made the Super Bowl. I would have been cool with that. The thing that gets me is that Tony won't be around anymore when the Chiefs get competitive again. So why not make him happy and trade him, while gaining a 3rd that you could use or package to trade, and help build your team. Not sure what Peterson was thinking. Expecting a similar off as the Shockey trade was ignorant because Shockey is much younger. Besides, the Saints over-paid for him. Oh well, time to move on. The Chargers await. Go Bills!
  19. Those plays are exciting, but he makes a lot of bad mistakes in between. He takes too long to read defences, forces throws and panics. Consistency is an issue. If he had a short and medium pass arsenal he would be lights out, but alas he is deep ball only. You can't win games with that.
  20. When we traded up, I actually though we were going to draft Winston Justice. I think DE is priority #1. We'll have to wait and see what free angency yields, of course, but right now I would go: 1: DE 2: C 3: OLB 4: TE 4: QB 5: RB 6: OT 7: DT
