  1. Hmmm. That's a tough one. I don't see him as one. Yeah he has a ring and an MVP, but he just wasn't consistent enough through his career for my taste. If he does get in, it won't be in his first year of eligibility, it'll take many tries.
  2. What about Moorman for QB? He has a 158.3 Passer Rating this season.
  3. We got a big game coming up. A showdown with the suddenly improving Browns. And it's on Monday Night to boot. NOW'S the time we circle the wagons. We need to rally behind this team because they NEED it. The bleeding has to stop, so come Monday let's all cheer like it's the Super Bowl. We need to stay positive and get this thing going again. This season is NOT over. I'll be there Monday, early on, tailgating, and then I'll head into the stadium and cheer til my throat burns. And then I'll cheer some more. The AFC is still so, so, SO wide open. We can do it. C'mon guys, who's with me?
  4. I could play DE. I did so in high school. Because ANYBODY is an upgrade over our pathetic group. Either that or VP of Beer.
  5. It's human nature to complain, to be negative, to be critical. It sucks and life is not fair..... at all. But that's the way it goes, you gotta roll with the punches. You're a true fan, that's why it hurts so much, that's why we over-react all the time. All we want is success, to win, to see our team do well. I hope, and am sure, that you're just frustrated and dis-enchanted. You want the bleeding to stop and the playoff drought to end. We'll get off the schnide. And this team still belongs to Buffalo. Whether you stay or go, just know this: Tomorrow the sun will rise, there's always a new day, a new season. Renewed hope, renewed optimism. It's not over 'til it's over.
  6. The only positive I can think of is Lee Evans. He is so freaking good, it is scary.
  7. Clean house and start over!? This such a young team, with a coaching staff in only its third year. We're poised to win and be competitive for years. Many people said we were still a year away, and maybe they're right. But it's clear progress has/is being made. Things haven't gone quite as hoped after the 4-0 start, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. The season is only half over, and you're already talking about a major shake-up. The only thing that needs a shake is your head. We all want this team to do well. And I suspect you're just frustrated like many of us. But this is absolute nonsense.
  8. Yes, we do. Every pass thrown to Hardy has been a bad pass. The only catchable ball thrown his way, he caught.
  9. Four minutes in and the refs have boned us twice so far: Questionable call on the "late" hit and; And an out of bounds catch called in bounds. Thanks refs!
  10. Cassel has been sacked a lot this year. I hope to god we can add to that. Someone needs to step up. Like right now.
  11. At this point that is the only logical prediction. But the AFC is so wide open still that I really do think anybody could come out on top. The NYGs are the clear-cut best of the NFC. If McNabb and more importantly Westbrook, can stay healthy, I think the Eagles will make and possibly win the Super Bowl. Therefore: Eagles 27, Steelers 21.
  12. All in favour of TSW members having to take an IQ test before being allowed to post say "I".
  13. Prediction: Reggie Corner will see action and pick off a Matt Cassel pass in the 4th quarter to seal the victory.
  14. 5-3 is not bad. The problem is we've lost three of our last four, including two intra-divisional losses. Injuries are piling up and the run game is bad.
  15. Yeah but the problem is, we're one of the worst run teams in the league sitting at number 26. Something's gotta give.
  16. We HAVE to beat NE this week.
  17. Coe College baby! Fred Jackson's alma mater.
  18. I haven't seen any posts asking for his return. We need to get this line straight, and fast. The Peters saga hurt us, and there are some injuries, but you don't go from having one of the best lines out there, allowing only 16 sacks all year, to this mess. The line is too freaking big to not open holes for Lynch and Coe. The game is won and lost in the trenches and our guys are not getting it done. It is making me sick. Bring back McNally. Give him so much money he can't refuse.
  19. How the Bills do on Sundays dictate how my week will go. So naturally over the past few years I've been rather angry. My co-workers know who won the Bills game as soon as I walk through the door, just based on my attitude. They don't need to ask.
  20. The way it is stipulated in the rules is that because the returner "had to" step out of bounds in order to field the kick, it is considered to have been kicked out of bounds, hence the penalty and ball placement at the 40. The Jets returner's foot was out of bounds when he touched the ball. I was just as baffled and outraged at it as you are. Someone explained it to me today actually, because I asked him. He also said that this rule gets brought up at every offseason meeting regarding changes to rules, but they never get enough votes to change it. Insane.
  21. McGahee looked for the home run on every play. Lynch is just looking for a hole he can actually run through on every play. Alas, the biggest O-Line in the biz can't open one for him. It honestly seems like the opposing Ds know EXACTLY where we're gonna run on each carry.
  22. Yup. Tell me how I'm wrong. Yeah, like blocking and having a run game.
