  1. Another loss to NE would also make us 0-6 in the division on the year and that can't sit well with anyone, even a cheap guy like 'ol Ralphie. I wanna beat NE and see DJ get fired. Why can't I have my cake and eat it too!?
  2. He hasn't been spectacular since leaving the Jets so his value may be down a little, I expect him to initially seek a large deal but one won't come and he'll settle for less, sort of like Bryant Johnson last year
  3. Maybe you should come back Coach Knox.
  4. If this is to be believed, and coming from the AP I'm probably is, at least we won't have to wait long to know. But you can't help but get the feeling that if we win against NE (which would be a big deal because we haven't beat them in forever and a day), that it may save his job for at least one more year. It's a conflicting feeling because you never want to see your team lose, yet the overwhelming majority opinion is that Jauron has to go. And finishing the season on a two game win streak over teams with winning records is certainly a positive.
  5. Here is my thought. Terrance McGee is aging and a move to safety is in his futurenext season. I heard McGee may retire, as his old age pension kicks in Jan 1/09? Just sayin what I heard. Yeah, I hear 28 is the new 34 in the NFL.
  6. Suggs is a jerk who'll look to become the highest paid DE in football and someone will give him it or very close to it. Peppers will get franchised. Haynesworth will go to the highest bidder. To be quite honest, Saints LB Johnathan Vilma is number one on my FA wish list. He's a baller who'd be dynamite on the outside, flanking Posluszny. He's young and talented and would absolutely fill a huge need. I also think he'd come at a reasonable price.
  7. My thoughts exactly. McGee is very much our best CB. I envision him starting opposite McKelvin next year. Greer's gone, Corner looks like he could be a star nickel and Simpson's on his way out. The Bills will either signa legit starting FS or draft one early.
  8. Trade him? No freaking way! The Bills need to pay up. Then he'll go away and you won't have to worry about the LT position for the next 8 years. The guy is very good.
  9. I have no doubt Trent is "the guy." I've felt this since last year. He just needs a little more seasoning and experience and he'll get there. He's only a second year man and a first year starter. As the offense evolves and is catered to him he'll get better and better. He really needs a pass catching tight end, though. Right now he lacks consistency. But the games against San Diego and Kansas City are evidence that he can light it up. He just needs to perform this way on a more consistent basis, which come with time. The early season 4th quarter drives also fill me with confidence. He also needs to be more durable.
  10. Coe College was huge today and he gets the nod from me.
  11. That was a weak call at best. That's why Mitchell picked it off a couple plays later: The football gods were angered and made it right. Karma's a B word huh Cutler.
  12. Our pass rush still stinks, but Denney made a couple of heads up plays. Rookie Reggie Corner made some big plays and is showing he has what it takes to be a top-notch nickel corner.
  13. Hell yeah! In the limited PT he's got so far he's done A LOT with it. He looks like the real deal and we all wanna see him get the ball more. The guy is 6'2" so you have to love that too. I say if he stays healthy and keeps getting better, he will catch 50 balls next year and emerges as the number two opposite Evans.
  14. We actually won a game. We won one against a team with a winning record, on the road. Trent won in cold weather. This feels good. Something to build on heading into next year.
  15. Reggie Corner has a future in this league.
  16. The weak D hold call (yet another b.s. call in favour of Denver ) is made right by the football gods!
  17. Fred Jackson for WR. Steve Johnson for ROY!
  18. Face mask. FACE MASK! C'mon ref. That was so obvious.
  19. Why do all of Lindell's kicks have to look like they're gonna miss wide right, then barely hook in at the last second?
  20. That's the first time in the last eight weeks that the Bills coaching staff has called two smart/good plays in a row. Wow!
  21. Gilbride has mysteriously mad the Giants O looke good. Eli has gotten better and the run game is tops.
