  1. I like Orakpo if he's still available at our pick. I'm also high on Greg Hardy. He's a quarterback's nightmare. One thing's certain; we need a pass rush DE.
  2. I hate Martz's brand of football. The pass-first offense is what I want to get away from. Our personnel favours a run-first attack. Our team is nowhere near built to run that type of O.
  3. Not to play devil's advocate here, but Cleveland had a rash of injuries after playing us too. When your number one and two QBs go down you're in trouble. But you're right, it was a badloss. However I think the season ended when we went into our stretch of three straight divisional games. Feeling good at 5-1, then three straight losses to divisional opponents. The Cleveland game was like the final nail in the coffin.
  4. A good draft but not entirely realistic. The Bills will draft somewhere around pick 12. Orakpo will be gone by then and Mack will be gone before we pick again. A more realistic draft would be Greg Hardy and Max Unger.
  5. Good read and a nice list. Too bad it's irrelevant to us because our moronic owner promotes retards from within. I would love to see Floyd Rees or Scott Pioli in Buffalo. But it shall remain a dream.
  6. Denver had a winning record when we beat them. That's good enough for me.
  7. Can't say I disagree with anything Sullivan said.
  8. I'm all for keeping Greer, but not with a frachise tag. Way too much money. I say we make him a decent offer and that's it. McGee is a good starter for at least two more years. I've seen enough of McKelvin to be convinced that he's ready to start full time. He has Pro Bowls in his near future. Corner looks to be a promising nickel back. That sort of leaves Greer as the odd man out. This is why I can't be in favour of franchising him, that's too much money tied up in one position where we seem to have good depth. However, since McGee is 28 and Greer 25, coupled with McGee's contract expiring after next year I wouldn't have a problem with siging Greer and then letting McGee walk after next year or try and trade him maybe. So long as the FO is confident that McKelvin and Greer can be their long term solution at corner. McGee's about as good a player as he's gonna be but Greer may still have some upside. In any case, it certainly won't be an easy decision to make.
  9. Yeah, he's probably the next inductee to Ralph's uber-exclusive "inner circle."
  10. x2. You're absolutely right. Drafting has to be all smoke screen and mirrors. Letting teams know we're going DE tells teams when and where to trade up/down. You certainly can't hide your weaknesses but we need to show that we're considering DE, TE and C with that number one pick. And this is of course done by attending their respective workouts and bringing them in for workouts.
  11. Yes and no. Pro Bowl voting started really early and he only started returning kicks full time a couple weeks in. And he looked timid too. He's really only come on the last five, six weeks or so. But as of right now he's the most dangerous kick returner in the NFL.
  12. Nuts to that! Bye bye JP. Don't come back. And don't bother sending us a postcard from the arena league neither. Oh, and shave that hurtin beard.
  13. If it's DE only and Orakpo is gone then Ole Miss DE Greg Hardy.
  14. These are good choices. I feel better knowing these two deserving players are alternates. However, it is an absolute injustice that Brian Moorman is not the AFC's punter.
  15. I don't mean to sound like an ass but this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Wow.
  16. Offense: 1. Lynch - Our best player. The offense needs to be run-first and built around Lynch. 2. Edwards - He plays the most important position. He needs more weapons around him who compliment his skill set. 3. Peters - Yes Peters. It all starts with the O-Line and LT is the blind-side spot. We need this guy. 4. Evans - He's the number one receiver. He needs someone consistent opposite to shed double-coverage. 5. Jackson - The guy can do it all: run, catch. The perfect compliment to Lynch. Love him. Defense: 1. Stroud - It starts in the trenches. Give him some help down there and he'll be lights out. 2. Whitner - Great player but needs a legit full-time FS beside him to be most effective. 3. McGee - When healthy he's our best cover-corner. Great speed and awareness. 4. Posluszny - Good tackler but he needs to get better and be that Fletcher type sideline to sidleine machine. 5. McKelvin - Has started to come on. The talent and skill is obvious. Once he gets more experience, Pro Bowler. Special Teams: 1. Moorman - The guy is the best punter in football. 2. McKelvin - Everytime he returns a kick he's got a legit shot to score. Scary good. 3. Parrish - Amazing punt returner and always a threat to score.
  17. That's looks like an unforgiving schedule. If I had my choice I'd want the Bengals/Browns game in Toronto. Why? Because I don't really care for those teams, I want to see the divisional games, I want to see the NFC opponents because they only come once every eight years, and I want to see Peyton and the Colts as well as Andre and the Texans.
  18. I think that's a fairly accurate list. McKelvin should probably be on the "almost there" list. But he's really only come on as of late.
  19. It's JPs fault. Duh.
  20. I don't know how seriously you can take anything said by a guy who looks like an alien.
  21. Me too. He played well in spot duty for Big Ben. I remember that huge pass he hurled downfield for a score a couple weeks ago.
  22. It's mathematically impossible to go 0-8 in your division. Although I somehow wouldn't be surprised if the Bills managed to accomplish this anyway.
  23. Didn't see this posted so I just wanted to say congats to Selsun Blue on his accomplishment. He's been steady for us all year and against Denver yesterday he broke the 100 tackle mark. I look forward to more from our fan fav blue collar MLB.
  24. After the way Losman single-handedly gave them the W last week they deserved a demoralizing loss. Go yourselves Jets fans!
