  1. It doesn't matter. Anything that is BBQ'd is friggin delicious. You could BBQ a lop of schitt and it would taste good.
  2. Thanks for that Beerball. TE is a position of need, for sure. Based on the Scouts Inc. report it seems clear that Pettigrew is the best option as he embodies what a TE is and what a TE means to the Bills. Coffman is essentially a giant WR with no speed. Pettigrew is clearly a better fit for us as he would be lining up next to tackles, not flexed out. We don't need a TE to be fast, he needs to have good hands and be able to adjust to the ball. And again in reference to this report, Pettigrew clearly has those abilities. Combine pending, Pettigrew looks like a reasonable pick at 11. Clearly put, he fills a need, rather a void in our offense. I fully acknowledge our DE woes and would take Orakpo in a heartbeat if he's there, but I am becomming more and more comfortable with Pettigrew at pick 11. I really think that a legit pass-catching TE would really pull our offense together. While not a sexy pick, if he's considered the 13th best player and 1st at his position, how is he a reach at 11? His size and hands are strong selling points. This guy is the antithesis of Robert Royal, and that's a good thing.
  3. What better way to start off the day than to read more depressing Bills stats.
  4. These things tend to be smoke screens and mirrors but Lurie went on record and publicly stated that McNabb would be back next year as the team's starting QB. It's hard not to believe the owner on this. Besides, the Eagles just came from the NFC Championship game, do they really think they'd be better off without McNabb? Especially with the unproven and untested Kolb behind him.
  5. 1. He's not an HoFer. Not even close. 2. Of course we'd want him. But not for Peters. 3. We are allergic to success regardless.
  6. Another Bills castoff, AJ is a jerk, hate the guy but he's put together a great roster. Drafted Rivers and Merriman, and brought in Gates. I know the power struggle, etc. but he's a jerk who ran Marty out of town after he posted a 14-2 record. And now he's treating future HoFer, LaDainian Tomlinson, like a piece of trash. LT stayed in SD during the bad years, always running hard and he re-signed when he could've went elsewhere. He had one of the most prolific seasons for a RB, scoring TDs left, right and center. And now this. I know it's a business, but c'mon.
  7. Scaife would certainly be an upgrade over Royal. Then again anybody would be, even SKOOBY.
  8. Don't be ridiculous. There's no such thing as too many.
  9. Well, Kollar left some pretty big shoes to fill.
  10. This is almost as bad as that "Lynch for Boldin" thread.
  11. Poor baby, he's team had the number one seed and had a home playoff game. His team also won the Super Bowl last year. Waaah!
  12. Thanks for posting Beerball. Mayock knows his stuff. I would love for Orakpo to fall to us, or even by some miracle Aaron Curry. I think the guys we can consider at pick 11 are, in order of best prospect down: 1. Curry 2. Orakpo 3. Raji 4. Brown 5. Jerry 6. Pettigrew
  13. I agree, 100%. Just pay him.
  14. I heard Schefter too, he said to look for Carolina to sign Gross and tag Peppers. But the thing he said where Gross wants to be the highest paid LT is bad news for us. We need to get Peters' deal done. Just pay him.
  15. There's always the chance to trade down. It all hinges on how the draft unfolds and whether there's a guy who has either fallen or won't make it past another team.
  16. Interesting. He's right, but the diction of the paragraph is past tense. Ralph has made some poor decisions as of late in terms of personnel (see multi-person GM circle, retention of bad coaching staff).
  17. Yup. But the Saints will re-sign him anyway.
  18. I agree, head to head should be the tie-breaker, it doesn't make sense.
  19. Durability issues, will be 25 when the season starts, a little undersized. Other than that he looks great. Raji's better.
