  1. SMOKED!
  2. That's true. Apparently his prayer WAS answered.
  3. It was at about the 11:24 mark of the 4th quarter. T.O. was sitting by himself at the end of the bench and (without audio) he clearly said "Jesus help me". There were no replays. They did show replays of T.O. rubbing his forehead around the same time. The question I have is what did he mean by it? Did he mean that he was regretting the drop? Was he frustrated with his lack of participation in the O? Anyone who has the game TiVo'd can check it out and perhaps a media member can ask for an explanation.
  4. Good question H2o. Good point DrFishfinder. A top notch qb might have sent the Bills to 0-2. The way I see it the 1-1 Bills are currently on the all too familiar Highway 7-9. In 2 games they have lived up to the expectations of a Dick Jauron coached ball club. They lost to an apparent winning team and beat a team which will achieve 2-4 wins this season. It doesn't get any easier than the rebuilding Bucs without their starting center and best receiver, not to mention one of the weakest secondaries in the league. The Saints game presents an opportunity for the Bills to shatter the trend of not being able to beat a winning team. Drew Brees is clearly an elite QB and barring injuries the Saints are a lock for the playoffs. Week 3 is a defining moment for the '09 Bills. Beat a winning team and jettison that monkey or come up short on your way to 7-9.
  5. Not really. The Bills left the door open in this one. A better team would have turned this game into Monday night part 2.
  6. In 2 games this team appears light years away from the 18-1 Patsies.
  7. Pressure Brady and jam their receivers. How come we didn't think of that?
  8. Plus it's dark when the game ends. That makes it much easier for spray painting the goat of the week's lawn.
  9. Warren Sapp and Michael Irvin were VERY hard on McKelvin this morning. Irvin had a good point mentioning first it was a mistake to bring the ball out and second it was very dumb to head toward the middle of the field. He said pick a sideline because you can just step out and avoid a hit or if you do fumble, the ball has a chance to bounce out of bounds. Very good point which I haven't seen/heard made yet.
  10. ABSOTOOTLY! I am pulling for Rex "the mouth" Ryan to B word slap Brady and the panties.
  11. Absolutely. And it didn't take a team of proctologists to find mine.
  12. Run up the score?!?! RUN UP THE SCORE?!?! How about slow down TB's running game? How about a few three and outs. How about Trent completing a pass over 15 yards? Besides, blowouts aren't the GOAL of a Dick Jauron coached football team. The GOAL of a Dick Jauron coached football team is to keep the score close enough to have a shot to win in the final minute. Play scared, play timid, and play it safe. Just try to give yourself a chance to win it in the end.
  13. Wow! You're on-line in the buff? Could you provide pictures? AFAIK the thread isn't up yet. The weekly previews are definitely appreciated though.
  14. One could not tell that you stopped.
  15. I like Ryan's style. It sure beats listening to Dick praise the Patriots and wring his hands over how tough our division is. I think that the Jets have a very good shot at knocking off the Pats. It's going to be a great game to watch. But it does remind me of an old saying... don't let your mouth write a check that your ass can't cash.
  16. Well, since you asked for it... You wouldn't happen to resemble this old guy, would ya?
  17. It's hard to beat New England. We were however, morally victorious last Monday night.
  18. I completely agree. I have no problem with what T.O. said or how he said it. I saw Schlereth stirring the pot. He said that T.O. was needling his teammates and expects a complete eruption by week 6. Totally irresponsible journalism. First he misrepresents the facts and then he predicts T.O.'s future behavior. Shameful.
  19. It would have been funnier if he disagreed with himself.
  20. Neurotics complain of their illness, but they make the most of it, and when it comes to talking it away from them they will defend it like a lioness her young. Sigmund Freud
  21. My thoughts too. Dallas at home stung more than the loss at N.E.
