  1. Why only the first quarter? Are they afraid that someone will upstage Jauron?
  2. PLEASE give me some of what you are smoking! A VERY TALENTED TEAM?!?! REALLY?!?! I will give you a few talented players, but between the F.O. filleting the roster, starters lost to injury, a starting Q.B. in a downward spiral, and the worst coach in the league, we have ONE OF THE WORST TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE. Apparently you haven't been paying attention lately, so let me catch you up on a few of the Bills recent accomplishments.... - 3 wins 12 losses in their last 15 games. - 8 game division losing streak. - the ONLY team to lose to Cleveland (TWICE, BOTH AT THE RALPH) in Cleveland's last 14 games. I could go on but why bother.... dude, roll another one just like the other one and
  3. I would go back to Sept. 25, 1980 and roll John Bonham onto his stomach so he wouldn't choke on his vomit after consuming a copious amount of vodka. Led Zeppelin would have continued to make great music through the '80's and possibly beyond. My sophomore year of college. Marv Levy's tenure as GM.
  4. Based on what? This team is in total disarray. The Jets are coming off of a tough road loss in which they looked pretty good. They are coached by a passionate leader who hates losing. R.R. will have his squad breathing fire on Sunday afternoon. What about Dick? He'll be all too willing to take the blame for yet another loss.
  5. Lay the points. You'll be a winner by halftime. The Bills will learn the definition of physical this Sunday. Not to mention a well lathered crowd for a 4 O'clock start. FUHHGEDDABOWDIT!!!! J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!
  6. .... so Dick Jauron is a member of this board.
  7. That sent me on a 3 minute outburst that actually scared my wife and child. Then the all Spanish GMC commercial. Loved that. This country was built on immigrants, but come here legally and speak !@#$ing English!!!
  8. Yes. We have a legitimate shot at the worst defeat of the season. Dick facing the NY press after the game may be the real entertainment.
  9. We kid because we care. Really.
  10. I honestly never liked Seinfeld. I found him to be pompous, arrogant, and talentless. IMO Curb Your Enthusiasm > Seinfeld.
  11. The only place to go is up???
  12. The question is... Will poojer get to see her butterfly up close? Signs say no.
  13. I knew you had good taste.
  14. AHHH, Poojers eternal search for the holy grail. He'd have better luck with Rohypnol.
  15. I hear ya. It's coming up on 2 years since my mom died. I get the feeling that it's going to be a Yankees/Dodgers World Series because the Yankees were (and still are) my team and my mom was a big Dodgers fan. She really liked Tommy Lasorda and Steve Garvey. We enjoyed a lot of good natured ribbing during their rivalry from 77-81. A Dodgers/Yankees World Series will be a reminder.
  16. You know how I know you're gay?... because you drink butterfly wine! Relax, I'm just kidding. I know how sensitive you queers can be. On a serious note, 1973's Papillon starring Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman Some of you youngsters may want to take a break from the Madden and fantasy football and check it out.
  17. On second thought, I'll take the last 3 women in dibs' avatar. BTW - I'm surprised that this thread made it two pages without some wise ass making a comment like "why would you want to spend an evening with a dead body?"
  18. They must have thought that the rest of the league was clamoring to steal Dick from us. Definitely a premature move. But to be honest at 5-1, I was entertaining thoughts of home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
  19. Dick signed the extension when the team was 5-1. He followed through by going 2-8. If Ralph wanted to fire him after the season, he would've had to eat the 3 year $9 million guaranteed contract. That seems to be a point lost on all national reporters. Ralph didn't reward a losing season or 2-8 finish, the deal was already done. As far as continuity goes, after finishing 2-8, Dick has his club at 1-4, right on target! HOORAY CONTINUITY!!!
  20. They're no longer the Bills if they move. Following the Bills is my last connection to Buffalo. Once they move, that will be it. The fact that there are no plans for a new stadium or lease renewal with Erie county is a pretty good sign that they are on their way out.
  21. For now, I've just stopped caring about the Bills. I'm sick of feeling like **** for two days following a loss when the team, from the owner to the coach to the players, don't seem to give a damn. I can't jump ship though and suddenly become a fan of another team. I've been in Charlotte since the inception of the Panthers. It was exciting to witness their run to Superbowl 38. Cars driving around with Panther flags, everyone talking football, people who usually didn't watch football getting into it. But it's just not the same. For better or worse, the Bills are in my blood, ingrained from my earliest memories. I've done a lot of traveling and relocating in my lifetime and steadfastly defended my hometown team every step of the way. The fact that a Dick Jauron coached football team has finally made me stop caring is quite an achievement.
  22. The Fins win ensures that Dakota Fanning's #1 fan will face a FIRED UP Jets D. Have fun Trent!
  23. You couldn't let it die !!!!!!!!
  24. I know it may be an odd combination, but my choice would be... 1. Robert Plant 2. Ronald Reagan 3. Adolph Hitler
