Yeah, and Tito & Jermaine had a profound influence on Rock-n-Roll. Did anyone watch the HBO special? I DVR'ed it and haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I did a little channel flipping last night and caught Simon and Garfunkel doing Bridge Over Troubled Water. I thought that Art Garfunkel (while looking slightly effeminate in his advanced age) gave an outstanding performance pouring his heart into the song while Paul Simon just wasn't that into it. A completely unbalanced performance. Kudos to Garfunkel and to Paul Simon for merely going through the motions!
