  1. Sorry to hear that. Way too young.
  2. Coming up on PBS now.
  3. Keep up with the medal count HERE. USA! USA! USA!
  4. I moved to Charlotte 15 years ago and everyone is into NASCAR so I gave it a chance. I did discover that there were some nuances to the sport mainly pit strategies like fuel mileage and tire changes. But overall it's a pretty boring sport. Then everyone told me that you had to experience it live. I did attend a couple of events, one included a VIP pre-race party. All you could drink and Mark Martin spoke and took Q&A. Even after seeing it live a couple of times, I was unimpressed. Fast cars turning left with multiple breaks in the action. Whoopee! I prefer a day at the ponies with a couple of fine cigars anytime. Too bad there's not a thoroughbred track within 300 miles .
  5. Nearly 12 hours on top? Uh-uh. No more sympathy mister.
  6. In January we're getting married.
  7. He did bring the olympics to Chicago. Oh, wait.
  8. Obama claims that he has saved or created a billion jobs. Read it for yourselves. News article. He's definitely gone too far this time. Joe Wilson was right after all!
  9. I never understood the fascination with Star Track.
  10. Oh you're quite the punster! If we were posting girlfriends, I would proudly present my girl. Although she is clearly too much for you to handle Steely.
  11. Like I didn't see that reply coming!
  12. This isn't the post your girlfriend thread.
  13. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the heads up.
  14. That must be where the millions of jobs saved or created exist as well!
  15. What about the other 9?
  16. Thanks WEO, it's refreshing to know that not everyone is incapable of being a Bills fan and an honest and accurate evaluator of talent (both player and personnel) at the same time.
  17. I agree with you. The Gailey hiring was pathetic and the coaching staff is a joke. Typical Ralph Wilson hires, guys who are in over their heads and wouldn't hold their current positions with any other NFL team. The kool aid gulpers don't want to face reality though, ignorance is bliss and there are some very happy mother!@#$ers around here.
  18. Sorry for raining on your Chan Gailey parade. Check back with me in 3-4 years.
  19. Anyone else here like
  20. I can understand that. To each his own. Personally the $6.00 it would cost me to avoid the "giveaway scene" would be money well spent.
  21. That's good. When I saw those commercials during the SB I was thinking of the poor waitstaff that were going to have to tend to the cheapskates that come out of the woodwork, order a water, and take off without tipping. When I moved here to Charlotte, I quickly discovered that southerners really don't believe in tipping like they do in NY. You'd be surprised at how many people think that a waiter/waitress is "doing their job" and don't realize that they count on tips.
  22. Not my style. Nothing says I'm a total cheap ass like waiting in line for free pancakes and eggs. I hate cheap people. When I go out I tip big and my servers/bartenders appreciate it. I can go to one local restaurant in particular and be seated immediately even when there is a full waiting room and line out the door.
