Good stuff, most of it had a reggae feel to it. Some of it seemed to be "college bands", but this is the type of thing I'm looking for, music that I'm not familiar with.

I'm going to use 4 from your list: Black Rock, Free, How It Goes, and Love Song (311). I considered going with the original from The Cure, but I like the updated sound better. Keep 'em coming...

Thanks to EVERYONE who replied so far. I'm finding a lot of great music that I've never heard of before. Bob Marley and Buffet will be well represented. 2am is in! Not exactly poolside chill music. But it would be a good addition to my workout list. You have a really interesting taste in music, I liked "Wish" by Flying Saucer Attack. Stellar is in. Brandy, an all-time classic and one of my favorite songs is in too. All good stuff. Periode Bleue is in. Wooderson, I'm going through your list now.

So BLZFAN will be putting the final touches on opening the inground pool for the season this weekend. I would like to put together a great list of songs (via mp3 or CD) to relax to, particularly on hot, tiki torch-lit southern nights. I'm 39 and pride myself on having an eclectic taste in music, so any genre, any time period will be acceptable, as long as you think it blends with great drinks and starlit nights. Fire away...

Well shorty, I can understand why. The obvious answer is "Thriller". And I expect that is exactly what he will do. National and local media types are panning this selection. However, had he been chosen by the Pats, Giants, Cowgirls, or Bears, they would be applauding the move relentlessly. SPILLER IS SPECIAL and soon he will make Billievers out of everyone. We took the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE when our number was called, now, all of a sudden, that is a bad thing. Not so. This was a weak year for qb's. Would you rather have THE BEST RB available in the draft or a questionable first round rookie qb? Spiller "The Thriller" will deliver. You heard it from BLZFAN first, and BLZFAN knows best!

I was just looking at our schedule yesterday and I thought that the best possible scenario had us at 2-3 at the bye and 6-7 before facing the AFCE to finish the season. Under that scenario, a three game sweep would put us at 9-7. As I said, that's the best case sceanario, I'm counting games like Miami, Jacksonville, K.C., Detroit, Cinci, and Cleveland as wins. Assuming victories is something that this team is not in a position to do right now. I do like the direction that Nix/Gailey are headed. There seemed to be a common characteristic among all of their draft picks and that would be "hard working". So they scrapped the Tampa-2 and are bringing in a lot of big guys with good work ethic. It's definitely an improvement over Jauron, which sadly, isn't saying much. Hopefully Spiller can provide a spark. We will need special teams to rank in the very top of the league. All 4th grade humor aside, I believe that if you are going to put your faith in a prospect then Wang is a great candidate. He has the pedigree (Olympian parents) and seems to take his role as the first Chinese-American NFL'er very seriously. I really expect to see great things out of Ed Wang.

I'm pulling hard for Wang. I think that he can be huge. Wang has the potential to rise and explode upon the scene. If Wang can manage to swell up in the weight room, he'll certainly make headway and be able to come through in the end. I certainly hope that Wang won't let us down.
