  1. This is what I would like to see: - Keep the divisions and scheduling system in place but when it comes to the playoffs: Simply rank the conferences 1-6. 1 and 2 get a bye. 3 hosts 6 and 4 hosts 5. If you win a division but don't qualify for the playoffs, too bad. Sell your fans the caps and tees, but try a little harder next year. That's as fair as it can get.
  2. It looks like either the Rams or Seahawks are going to advance to the playoffs with an 8-8, possibly a 7-9 record. Then, as division champions, a team with a much better record will have to play the division winner on the road. Not to mention that teams like Tampa Bay and Green Bay are likely to miss the playoffs with 10 or 11 wins. So, is this an issue that needs to be addressed? Should the NFL create a rule that you must win your division with a winning record to advance to the playoffs? Should they scrap the entire system? Are you fine with the way things are?
  3. Why did Kamikaze pilots wear helmets? If a kid refuses to sleep during nap time, are they guilty of resisting a rest? Whose cruel idea was it for the word “Lisp” to have a “S” in it? How can there be self-help “groups”? Why are they called "apartments" when they're stuck together? How do they get the deer to cross at that yellow road sign? Why do you call it an asteroid when its outside the hemisphere, yet call it hemorrhoid when its in your ass?
  4. 11 straight playoff-less seasons and a 3-10 record is a bit of a passion dampener.
  5. Looks good to me, there's one problem though, this mock makes too much sense for the Bills to follow. I do like the description for Dareus:
  6. Polamalu is playing lights out. He routinely makes huge plays when they matter the most. Week after week he's coming up with either picks, sacks, or strips to seal or win games. The guy deserves every honor there is from player of the week to the Pro Bowl to defensive player of the year.
  7. Coming off of the bye the Bills played a few good teams close and then actually won two in a row. Just when the old passion and enthusiasm for the team began to emerge, the wheels fell off in Minny. Then I see the Patriots roll the Jets like they were a D-2 squad. Leading me to ask how are we ever going to compete with the Pats? Excuse me for not researching it, but off of the top of my head I believe they have beaten us 14 straight times and 19 of the last 20. New England also has 2 picks in each of the first 4 rounds of the draft. The Patriots have their own picks plus these: First-rounder from Oakland Raiders (for Richard Seymour). Second-rounder from Carolina Panthers (from trade at this year's draft). Third-rounder from the Minnesota Vikings (for Randy Moss and seventh-round pick). Fourth-rounder from the Denver Broncos (for Laurence Maroney and sixth-round pick). The second rounder from Carolina is likely to be the #33 pick, which isn't too shabby. They will use some picks and wisely trade some away and secure additional picks for the future. They have a young D which will only improve over time and look like a firmly entrenched dynasty. Bills fans on the other hand, are relegated to feeling good about moral victories and wins against two-win teams.
  8. I'll go with the Jets because I hate them a little less than I hate the Pats. I HATE Tom Brady and hope he gets destroyed tonight.
  9. How could you forget Losman and McCargo? Absolutely horrible drafting. The X-factor has choked in important situations. Do you remember the Pats game? Last week? There is a pattern developing with McLovins game and it isn't a good one. Let him go and choke for another team.

  23. I hear the bells of freedom chiming And inside my heart I feel I'm dying Wise guys never compromise They they loose their rights and they act surprised Jail really cuts ya down to size Let the punishment fit the crime The footprints on (the sign the time) The philosophy of (warish crime) Make a man humble in his prime You can go up, down, or sideways Be on Death Row, counting the days They say the answers are blowin' in the wind And to take yourself out would really be a sin You just have to cope and start over again Let the punishment fit the crime The footprints on (the sign the time) The philosophy of (warish crime) Make a man humble in his prime Little child cries in his sleep And life makes promises it can't keep And then you had, had enough You realize somehow, someway Your destiny was planned from the very first day Let the punishment fit the crime The footprints on (the sign the time) The philosophy of (warish crime) Make a man humble in his prime Let the punishment fit the crime
