  1. - There is no god. - There is no devil. - Organized religion exists for 2 purposes: - 1. To control human behavior. - 2. To collect money. - If you want to discover true evil, examine the behavior of the Catholic church throughout history.
  2. End times indeed, as foretold by Zephaniah in the Old Testament. http://bible.cc/zephaniah/1-3.htm

  4. Good question. I'm just basing my opinion on the fact that they have a history that goes back to Dallas. Gailey was HC and Edwards was LB coach for 2 seasons. Gailey has obviously shown a willingness to cast away under-performing players. I'm thinking he won't be so quick to do so with staff. We'll see...
  5. A coach of Fox's calibre is most likely going to move on to another HC position, depending on the number of vacancies. The failure in Carolina was as much an ownership/management issue as it was coaching. The Panthers (much like the Bills) sat on their hands during FA, while there were many glaring holes to fill. Jerry Richardson's inactivity was influenced by the possible looming lockout. As far as our DC goes, I think we definitely need an upgrade. GE was in over his head from day 1, but isn't that par for the course with this organization? The big question is... would Chan Gailey be willing to sacrifice his hand selected guy after just 1 season. My guess would be no.
  6. I only drink on special occasions and days ending in y.
  7. I could care less what he does after football. Irregardless of where he was drafted, he sucks anyways. He's to lite to play DE and to tall for OLB. Not for nothin, but we shouldn't resign him when his contact is up. Your nuts if you think we should. Let him go on dancing with the stars with his quick first step!
  8. I guarantee if you're honest, we'll read a report of your failure within two weeks.
  9. Craft brews, particularly IPA's are my drink of choice, but on the rare occasion that I have a mixed drink, it's dark rum and coke. Nothing complicated or sophisticated... Appleton Estate, Myers's, or even Captain Morgan will do. I prefer a tall glass packed with ice. Make it nice and strong, 50/50. The key and absolute must is to finish it off with a squeeze of fresh lime. - Used to be able to drink these all night long, but now, they get too sweet after 2 or 3.
  10. A half empty HSBC arena for USA V. Switzerland didn't exactly prove Etem's statement wrong.

  13. I think you have it a bee wit back assward. It's Roger Daltrey from The Who. Daughtry is the American Idol.
  14. - Obviously twisted logic. The Bears are division champions and the Jets are playoff bound for the second straight season. The fact that they were both thrashed by the Pats has no bearing on the pitiful state of this franchise.
  15. It has been Groundhog Decade as a fan of this team. I'm almost numb to this organization. I also don't share the optimism that many fans seem to have about the current regime's ability to build a contender. We won a few games against poor teams and kept a couple close, but are we really better off than the team that finished 7-9 under interim head coach Perry Fewell? I don't think so. This roster has more holes than Swiss cheese. Anyone that watches a lot of NFL games must realize that playoff teams have backup players, particularly TE's, WR's, O and D linemen that would be starters for us. We can't even get production out of top 100 picks in the draft and the same people who made these picks are still calling the shots. - It's just terribly frustrating and I honestly don't see this team climbing out of the basement of the AFCE anytime soon. - Flame away, I know the "lowered expectations" crowd will.
  16. - Thought it was appropriate to dust this topic off in light of today's pitiful, pathetic, and embarrassing display of football on our home field. Today's performance highlighted just how inadequate the Bills are as an NFL franchise. This organization is broken from the owner, to the front office, to the coaches, players and right down to the water boy. 11 seasons without a playoff appearance and if you think this crew has us on the right path, just re-watch today's game. It's a terribly sorry state of affairs at OBD and has been a horrendous decade to be a fan of this inferior football team.
  17. Wake me up before you go-go.
  18. Keep on crying a river and you can single handedly solve all of humanity's water problems!
  19. The Rams and Seahawks both lost by 14 yesterday meaning the best possible finish for one of these teams (they play each other in the final week) is 8-8. This will create 2 injustices under the current playoff system: 1. 2 teams with a better record (most likely G.B. & T.B.) will stay home while a .500 club advances. 2. The winner of the "who sucks the least" contest known as the NFC west will actually play host to a much better team (perhaps N.O.) in the wild card round. So, essentially this system is going to allow a mediocre team that doesn't even belong in the playoffs to host a playoff game. This scenario is a bit of an aberration, but it does reveal a significant flaw in the system. The NFL should rearrange the format to ensure that the Conference's best 6 teams get in and host games based on their regular season performance. It' a no-brainer.
  20. Epic response. Hilarious.
  21. That would help, but still not solve the problem of a 10 or 11 win team sitting home while a much inferior squad makes the playoffs. The second season should be reserved for the very best teams in the conference and the current 4 division system doesn't assure that. Just for the purpose of keeping current rivalries intact.
