Not so fast. If salary weren't an issue, would you rather have Stroud on this team or not have him? We just lost a solid veteran defensive lineman with a great attitude and solid work ethic. All of these posters who are dismissing Stroud as washed up are out of their minds. This was purely a financial decision by the Bills front office. Mark my words, Stroud will be a valuable addition to the right team (N.E., NYJ, NYG, BAL, PHIL etc) and may cap his career with a ring. Now, obviously he will probably have to settle for half of what he would have made here ($1mil bonus and $5,5 mil salary) but anyone who thinks that we are so much better without him are disconnected from reality.

DVR'd it from 1:00 a.m. - just have to find the time to sit down and enjoy it. I was always a huge Led Zeppelin fan. I followed the White Stripes right from the early days and am a big Jack White fan, glad I got to see them at the house of blues in Myrtle beach a few years ago. This is pretty shocking to me. While Stroud is definitely past his peak, but he is still valuable to this team's D-line. He is a guy that we absolutely need as a rotational player. I wonder what is behind this move. Faith in the young guys? Plans to draft D-line early and often? Speculation that there may indeed not be a season next year, therefore Stroud will be to old?
