  1. Did he apologize for setting this franchise back 7 years during his disastrous tenure as GM?
  2. I can't argue too much. That's the way most of this town, commercial and residential was built during the boom years. There are some nice neighborhoods in Concord though. (building standards notwithstanding)
  3. Steve Perry's moustache was lighter than hers.
  4. Did any of the repairmen hit on the homeowners' teenage daughters?
  5. I've been here fo 16 years. Love the weather. I would never return to dreary WNY, although you can't beat the food back home. Charlotte was the last city in the country to realize home value declines when the recession hit. Right now it is definitely a buyers market. You couldn't have picked a better time to move. Of the three areas you listed, Matthews is clearly the best choice. Waxhaw is too far out and you would deal with heavy I-77 traffic if you lived in Fort Mill. I would also suggest considering the Concord Mills/Speedway area, as well as Harrisburg. Better schools and still close to everything. Good luck.

  7. Norah Jones involved as well. Over five years in the making, ROME was born out of Danger Mouse and composer/arranger Daniele Luppi's shared passion for classic Italian film music. After an intense songwriting period, the pair traveled to Rome where they sought out several of the original musicians who performed on scores for films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West. Played and recorded live, straight to tape and in keeping with the recording practices of the 1960s/70s golden age, this ambitious and beautiful record also features vocal contributions from Jack White and Norah Jones. Rome will be released through Parlophone/EMI on May 16th UK/May 17th US. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UibsjY5K-c&feature=related
  8. ...to play football in Buffalo. I'm not impressed. The jury is still out on last year's draft and aside from Dareus, this draft is looking very suspect. I certainly hope that this crew knows something that I don't and doesn't turn out to be yet another 4 year cluster !@#$. Tic toc tic toc...
  9. If Miller is on the board when we pick, YOU HAVE TO TAKE HIM! It's a no-brainer.
  10. Hoppy Easter. Day of yard work then watch Sabres clinch.
  11. Yet another false assumption by you. The topic was deleted by a mod. And if my comments were as blatantly racist as you suggest, would I still be here?
  12. I remember every word that I wrote on that topic a year ago. I was condemning THE RAPISTS of a 7 year old girl. Can you comprehend that? Here you are a year later labeling me as some kind of raving racist. Give it up man. You clearly misinterpreted what I said. If it were a bunch of West Virginia mountain men that raped a 7 year old and I called them "white trash scumbags", would that mean that I hate all white people? You really need to give this a rest and quit being so sensitive.
  13. First of all. that would be posting, singular. Since you decided to pick at that one year old scab, allow me to refresh every one's memory. Upstanding young men brutally rape 7 year old girl. I had a few choice for these model citizens upon reading this story. Apparently, 1 year later, Booster still has more compassion for the perpetrators than the 7 year old rape victim. I suppose we're all entitled to our priorities. Second, I hate to disappoint you, but I have no idea who WBF is. I have 1 account here and do not have to hide behind phantom accounts. That is verifiable. Sorry to burst your delusional little fantasies.
  14. I'm obviously not laying the blame of this girl's behavior at the feet of our dear leader. The topic title is factually correct however. Even a person with your intellectual limitations would agree that... 1. The girl is a youth. 2. Obama (regretfully) is the POTUS. Case closed. Thanks for chiming in.
  15. Happy 50th Chef!
  16. It's definitely George Bush's fault.
  17. Link. #3 Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri. #34 Kyle Rudloph TE Notre Dame. #68 James Carpenter OT Alabama. I like Blaine Gabbert and this scenario would be a good investment in our offense, but I have to think that it's absolutely impossible that we ignore our D until round 4. WalterFootball should go back to the drawing board on this mock. Our porous run D has to be priority #1.

  21. They are still here. They have always been here.
  22. Exactly. Figures lie and liars figure. Take J.P. Losman's '06 season for example. Many here were giddy over the fact that Losman was the NFL's 11th ranked passer that season. However, if you actually watched the games, you realized that Losman compiled the majority of his positive statistics in the 4th quarter when the D was playing prevent with a 21 point lead, courtesy of J.P.'s ineptness. The box score is seldom an accurate reflection of what actually transpired. - So sayeth BLZFAN!
  23. Gee, I almost didn't see that one coming. ... And if Buddy Nix photos got out, they would more likely be Polaroids. Does Buddy even have a cell phone?
  24. Go to MLB.com. - Click on "FANTASY" at top right. - go to "Beat the Streak". - Pick one player (any player, you can pick a different player everyday) that you think will get at least one hit that day. - Beat Joe DiMaggio's streak and win $5.6 mil.
