  1. Me neither. Those speed bumps are way too small.
  2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2054028/Drunk-topless-woman-arrested-leading-police-128mph-car-chase.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
  3. If this, is correct, then there's the fist problem. Anyone paying attention knew that Merriman being able to go a few games without being sidelined was a major longshot. He certainly hasn't proven his critics wrong.
  4. Mudslides are as girly as it gets for me. For parties my wife usually makes a couple pitchers of pink panty pulldowns for the women. It's a combination of Bacardi limon, pink lemonade and Sprite. Not bad on a hot day and if it works as advertised, even better.
  5. Good call. I recently burned myself out on Octoberfests and my last 3 6er's have been Southern Tier 2xIPA. Great tasting beer with a surprisingly high ABV. That 8.2 will sneak up on you! Another good strong IPA is Titan IPA 7.1 ABV and great tasting. There are several breweries out there that regardless of the style of beer, you can't go wrong. Among them: Avery Bell's Lagunitas Leinenkugel's Sierra Nevada I've heard a lot about Pliny the elder but haven't been able to find it in Charlotte. Does anyone here know if it's available in Charlotte?
  6. I bet MNF wishes they could flex 0-4 Miami @ 2-3 Jets right off the air.
  7. She might have to buy me 18 beers and 6 double shots of Jager first.
  8. She was definitely providing some special education.
  9. So do I. I will be there watching and pulling for my Bills. I never turned away from the Pats game, even when they were down 21-0, but I just have a bad gut feeling about this game. Philly is talented and desperate. Their season is pretty much on the line. 1-4 and they're done in the NFCE. I really hope we have some home cooking for them, but right now my gut says no.
  10. I can't believe it's Friday night and no Haiku thread yet. I'll get the ball rolling. Coming off a loss. Let's get the Fitzmagic Back. Circle the wagons! Some fans wanted Vick. Goodell sent him to Philly. Now he can suck it!
  11. Sadly, that is a perfect description of the non-factor"s performance. Byrd is the best player in our secondary. Hands down.
  12. Kind of funny how liberal celebrity attack dogs (Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, every late night talk show host, Whoopie, Michael Moore, the list is practically endless) are rewarded for their critcism and this type of thing happens when the dear leader is critcized.
  13. I agree. Those who are saying "stuff happens, focus on Philly" or "we should have played better to overcome bad calls" are missing the point. What we witnessed on the field Sunday brings the integrity of the game into question. Why waste time following a team, analyzing matchups and watching games if ultimately, at any given time, the game can be determined by the men in stripes?
  14. Doesn't have to be a huge conspiracy. A few refs can handle the job. With multi-millions on the betting line, fixing 1 or 2 games a week isn't a huge or unfathomable possibility.
  15. 11th overall. Dick Jauron, the gift that keeps on giving!
  16. After watching this game I'm convinced of this as well. I've had suspicions before, but this game clinched it. It's pretty disheatening because I really love NFL football but there's no way anyone can convince me that this outcome was not predetermined. It's nothing more than the WWE.
  17. What does it mean to "grid em up" ? And ******* can I buy a vowel?
  18. Poor New England sports fans. First the Pats blow a three touchdown lead to the Bills and now no MLB playoffs. I went to sleep last night and the Yankees were winning 7-0 while the BoSox had a 3-2 lead in a rain delay. I was shocked to see that the Rays came back and Bawston lost. What a great morning! Go Yankees!!! story
  19. Florence's pick 6 had me jumping up and down while clapping and screaming. The drama at the end was awesome too. At live speed I thought that Freddie was in and just thought that 1:50 and 2 T.O.'s was too much to give Brady. It played out well though, right down to Bill Belichick having a little hissy fit.
  20. I would have loved to see Byrd plaster Marcia, but it was a wise decision on his part to avoid the hit. As Marv used to say, "don't be dumb and don't be dirty."
  21. Rest assured. This one's in the books, we circled the wagons once again! I was relieved when the TD wasn't allowed and then nervous as hell about the FG being blocked or missed. Years of conditioning will do that to you.
  22. Get back to me next week at this time to let me know how it worked out vs. Cinci.
  23. Someone get Jennifer Gish from the Times Union on the story!
  24. Sounds like club level seating at Carolina Panthers games.
